So in my mind he knows that there’s cultist and mind he keeps a shotgun to defend himself and also saying “oh lord have mercy”. There’s multiple things in the game that show he’s most likely not a cultist
The endings and choices on this game seem to be so limited as well as the hiding places. It's like all the options a player has are the same and too linear. For example, when found out by the cultists, why can't one hide around the other side of the roof of the tower while the cultist gets in and as he start to roam around the inside then tun downstairs? Or why can't one run back upstairs on the tower after the cultist walks off from the Portapotty and perhaps hide again under the bed or the other side again? I feel like every gameplay I've watched on this game, every one makes the same choice, also in a replay, has anyone tried to get the camera to photograph the skull placed by the door? Or even use the Bear Spray on the Cultist? Though I'm sure that last one may not work due to their hood.
i think its because the game is based on a real story, so the game creator has to follow the actions of the person that tells the story did irl to show how they scaped
There wouldn’t be any point in running back to the tower. The cultist already knows you’re there so you’d just get instantly killed. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is the bear spray thing.
@@gabbycraft7035 Well, being that it is a game, I figured that with enough freedom, one could do other things. In fact the game gives you 2 choices in running away from the tower at the end. The path straight out of the portapotty, and then there's a fork on the road to the left, if you take that one, you'll be ambushed by the whole group of cultist. So my question has merit because of the game is based in so called "real events" then why the hell would you be given 2 escape routes when the story is that the guy ran away on a straight line towards his RV?
No they’re not. They simply aren’t dead because the cult doesn’t seem to target staff members, even trying to warn them. Billy said „one of them“ so he knows, but it he fears them. And so does Connor, trying his best to ignore the cults antics.

@@chaosweaver6734 thanks, i see it now
was there no way to help the hiker? or what would happen if you went back into the tower after hiding in the toilet
1:53
1:49 did anybody hear the funny huh sound ?
Can you make a video on "what if" and "secrets" for this episode?
What happens if you go back up to the watchtower as the cultist is checking out the shack?
idk but the protag probably says something like "there was no way I was going back up" and the game probably stops you
why at 10:30 the main character was caught? i didn't get it:(
He made a noise
@@vxelno oh really?! i didnt notice that, thx;)
Can you die by investigating the whistling when you check on hiker, and has anyone gotten to save the hiker haha
Silas was the cultest bothering us the whole time. Shit was scary
Cool detail in the diner you can see one of the cultists at the tables hes sitting on his black robes if you closely
I'm also pretty sure he goes into your rv afterwards
i think the silas jumpscare and the billy jumpscare were the scariest parts for me at least 😭
@@Soham.69 fax bro
it would be a lot scarier if the cult guy didn't go 'huh' when he sees you like it's fucking austin powers. why did they do that.
I dont know why but lots of sounds and jumpscare sounds in this game seems similar in the game the suffering! but man the first one got me
The endings and choices on this game seem to be so limited as well as the hiding places.
The cultist guy just: HUH?
Connor just has to be a cult member himself and the park ranger guy too
No they’re not. They simply aren’t dead because the cult doesn’t seem to target staff members, even trying to warn them. Billy said „one of them“ so he knows, but it he fears them. And so does Connor, trying his best to ignore the cults antics.
@@Cr0w1997That what I mean what if they are behind all of it and trying to like warn you but Yk go with story but I think the park ranger guy is some way apart he is so sketchy
@@paradise2852 You do see that mf has a shotgun with him so he can defend himself right? Why would he be a cult member then? Hes literially saying "may lord have mercy", praying to god that the cult doesnt go after him
@@Cr0w1997he still a lil sketchy he’s Probaly not a member but he sketch
@@paradise2852 He knows about the cult and is scared off them. Thats it. Literially.
When you hide in the bathroom you can just pee on it and he will not notice
yeah
0:14 Billy definitely already knows about the cult stuff and just chooses to keep quiet to save face. He already know they do their rituals north of the forest but probably doesn’t say anything to keep the reputation of the park in good terms.
This entry is kinda stupid ngl, as scary as it is, why include Bear spray as a usable item if it is useless
Because cultists aren't bears?
@@Megawaps "The inflammatory properties of the bear spray will affect humans in a similar way as it does bears. A person contaminated with bear spray will experience the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose and lungs to swell and be irritated."
They arent regular people, they're some superhuman especially since they got so fast to the station.
@@Pixel_so2 They are definitely NOT superhumans, because it's a real-life story, developer just made them get there fast to not make the ending too long. But the fact that they have masks on might prevent spray from affecting them.
False sense of security?
It’s depressing to think that that cult most likely claimed more victims since no one believed him
I think thr game would be better if they had different endings depending on your actions. Still it looks very fun.
Well it’s based off a true story so it can only be one ending I guess
@@Astr000I know it says it’s based off a true story but the forest that it said it was based on had no information about cults. The only stuff I could find was missing people but people go missing in a ton of forests so they might’ve said “based on a true story” for marketing
i dont know but i laughed when the cult guy said "huh" when we open the door

Does anyone know what happens if you follow Silas? lol
I think about this too!
Invisible wall... 😅
He disappears

I thought silas will pop up here 😂
Omg so did I haha!!
I am sure they took the sound from the wandering trader from minecraft when the cult leader got suprised💀💀
Can you help the hiker if you click fast enough?
No, he is already followed
Wow, the first one already scared the shit out of me
last chapter should include a method to defend yourself, like theres no running option. Voice-acting was a good inclusion but the voices themselves were so horrendous that the creators shouldnt bother. Its the longest entry so far but it still doesn’t hold a candle to the scares of the 3rd chapter.
Horrendous? What are you talking about? They were fine, especially Connor's.
The reason most of these don't include parts where you defend yourself is because that's not what the person who told the story supposedly did, assuming some of these stories are authentic, but the voice acting was good?
the voice acting was great, idk what you're waffling about
connors voice was hot
@@darkequinox_yt7613 Connors voice was good. But the guy who asked about the path in the woods sucked. He sounded so casual instead of scared or confused. If you want a good lost hitchhiker voice then look at the game “Do you Copy?” Now that game has fantastic voice acting
the cultist is, in my opinion, the scariest antagonist of all the episodes
9:13 Bro... 💀
Can you use bear spray on the killer?
Yeah I have that same question too, it should be strong enough to incapacitate them
I tried and it did nothing
ManlyBadassHero used the bear spray repeatedly and it never did anything
Its not use
I tried then I end up dying
2:48 i wonder what would happen if the right trail was chosen instead, would it be the same or?
i thing nothing change because 2 reason
first that fact stories are kind of real. i mean i think the stories are real but with some changes and dialogues are not very important
second he hear the whistles just after seconds. so if he even followed the right not left trail he was able to hear that and get confused
@@aspgo1538 Probably yes, thank you
If you choose right you can see a body at the end by the cultists, if you choose left there's no body
everybody says the cultists at the ending are burning the hiker's body but I just don't see it? I've stared at the fire trying to see where the corpse is but just can't. Can somebody help me see it?
i cant see it either 😭
pretty sure it’s just a theory that they’re doing that but also silas the one in the black robe had a shovel at the start of the game so he could’ve buried him
Silas is also the one chasing and killing you
Its because they are preparing the fire the hiker is seen dead on the ground
@@abdullahsoliman-xx2iy I still don't see a body on the ground either

1:51 when someone tells me 2+2=4 and not fighter jet
3:51 episode 2 recap 💀
4:57 if the cultists didn’t want anyone to see their activity, wouldn’t they do it away from the perfectly open view from the fire tower? Assuming this really happened of course
Cocok melatih jantung agar tahan jumpscare😂
Iy
A park ranger with no gun yeah right
Or a Machete or big hunting knife...As a Park Ranger, who the hell does not have any weapons to defend themselves, right?
can someone explain to me why he ran to him at 10:35?
It was probably because the noise the person made causing the sound meter to turn yellow and it was enough for the cultist to hear it
@@tina1260 ty man
Can you go to connor's tower?
No
I’m wondering if they let us go downstairs and approach the cult thing? What would happen?
due to the sound effect, it seems like a cheap jumpscare
Well it is a cheap jumpscare itself but there arent many jumpscared and the importance is the atmospheric of the game, and that is lit
Is it just me or does the guy getting burned look like Silas from the clothes. Maybe they burned him because he was seen and they didnt want that
No. I think Silas is a member of the cult. What he said before he left when you talk to him practically gave it away.
@@Brony459Yes, yes he is silas is the man at the diner and if you look closer there’s a cultist robe next to him. Pretty sure he’s the leader of the cult.
I have a question
Will the flash light be visible at such a great distance when you’re standing next to a fire. I understand it may be possible if everything is literally dark but in this scenario is it possible?
Is it possible to peper spray the enemies ?
That's also something I want to know. Because if no then the pepper spray is absolutely useless.
No, you can't
10:31 what happened ?
He made a noise so the cultist found him
9:09 what if you kept running straight, what would happen then?
Thats the actual path that you gotta do for the next part, and he wont get u if u keep running and enter the RV
This game is based on true events , right ? So where this real event took place? I wanna know
Mount Rainier National Park
In washington
I really want to see the picture he took. Was waiting to see ir at the end
I'm curious what happened to photo captured to document as evidence,
He left the camera
What a lighting inthe video
1:50 bro sad huh?
I found another way to so in “something strange” after 4 seconds you open the door and look down the stairs he will then
Chase you into the cabin and kill but if you hide under the bed he goes backward and clips through the bed
I was thinking off why not set a trap like the gas and light up that mf off, i mean hes in all sack clothing
because there's like 10 of them
What happens if you choose the "take the right trail"???
@dilawyer2383it would have been cool if on the right path a bear would have mauled him and on the left kidnapped
