Noah Baker, an 18 year old highschooler experiences unsettling occurrences while house-sitting for a media personality, little did he know what was about to unfold that night. Fears to Fathom is an episodic psychological horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived. I'll admit one thing about games like these: It doesn't take fictional monsters or fictional supernatural occurrences to know what true fear actually is. The chances of what could happen in real life can be something to be truly feared.
Same as all that Chilla Art series for me. It's wrong place wrong time and I think that really unsettles people 😔
The Turn On The Breaker And Go In The Studio jumpscare killed me

I love how this game always has those hidden background events that show that you’re being stalked, even before the stalker makes themselves known. Adds to the creepiness factor 😰
Ugh me too! It is my favourite thing about this game series! I love that once I replay it again and again I will find something new each time and like that usually I had been followed from the start 😱
And the fact that you could miss all of them is unnerving. Means if you replay and look for something, you'd realize how much danger you were in from practically the start.
- Her car is also parked next to the van outside to the right when you finish shopping with the engine still on as if she is waiting to trail you home.
- When you turn the lights back on and enter the house at this point Cara and is now hiding in the studio whilst sending a text. When you send the text back "who is this" you can hear her phone go off because she has received the text.
Good spot mate!! Omg I actually cant believe I missed the text bit but now that you say it I remember it happening but I thought it was my phone in the game!!!

Dont know if these count as secrets, but:
-You see someone pass by the window when you watch TV the first time.
-The flowers from the front door can lay in the office near the end. Dont know why sometimes that doesnt trigger.
-You can see her on the camera when she leaves the flowers at the door.
-Cara will hide several times in the house and you can meet and get killed by her. 1 time when you turn off the oven she is near the kitchen. 1 time shes hiding in that green screen room. You can hear her phone when you text "Unknown User" the message "Who is this?"
-Its obvious but many youtubers havent noticed that the Kitchen Knife from that block is missing.
Good spot on them! I purposely spent time looking out the windows on some recordings when it was making me watch the TV because i Was sure something was going to happen but I didn't notice anything myself anyway! The phone alert when you message her is genius and I don't know how I missed it playing it!

It took me a couple of play throughs to find them don't worry missed alot on my first one 😂 omg so true as well haha! Girl got priorities and that is tv first. Would have been funny if she just stayed there for a few hours watching before trying to murder us 😂

@@Abo8na3 me personally I think it was just to show how unhinged she was that she breaks into a house and goes and turns on the tv. Clearly not worried about anyone hearing here etc. I think it is to show us the audience that she is out of her mind and we won't be able to reason with her etc

@@Abo8na3 I think it's two fold: (1) she was on meth and drunk, and (2) to play that audio section from the video so you'd hear it if you were nearby.
Can't recall the exact moment it happens, but you can also just see her walking out of the bottom right of frame in the front yard at one point (before the power outage). You also see her car pass by when you're in the laundromat.
Yeah think I have the one with the front yard! Didn't notice it at the laundromat though! Good spot!

trust me every fears to fathom episode has something you can miss i suggest seeing Iridos games other videos because Fears to fathom games have nice details you can miss easily.

Interesting clues to the buildup of the story, the first one is so easily missed so glad you got that.
I've found that in some playthroughs if you don't talk to your friends at the store you really have no idea who is stalking you, as there is no backstory until the game finishes if you miss that conversation. So when Cara says you're name when she's coming after you, you really have to guess at that point.
I really like the FTF series, they throw a lot of red herrings until the end to keep you guessing and the stories are grounded in the horror and messed up nature of humans and reality. Plus the sounds in these games are amazing.
Oh yes that is a very good point actually it is the friends who give the back story as to what is going on with her! you would almost forget if they don't you have no idea what is going on! Yeah i am the same I love them so much like that I love all the hidden little details hidden from the very start
There is nothing abnormal about the Fear to Fathom games and they seem like the raw reality we live in.

Another reason you always make sure you have something to defend yourself with I bought my mom a tazer and mace now that she goes to the gym late at night, more serious situations just carry a small pocket knife
@14kangaroonuts unfortunately that doesn't do much. I work in a hospital and I've seen more people be injured with their own weapons than they do actually to harm their attackers
Here is another one. When she sends you the text why are you doing this, if you stay on the stairs and press the esc key to reply to her, you can hear her phone ringing like it got a notification coming from the green room.

The basement is so underutilized in that game. What if you hide in the basement while she's in the house? Will she come to find you? Or will the game just not progress at all until you go upstairs? They should have had her break in through a basement window or something, and if you're in the room above it when it happens maybe you hear the glass break. I would have liked more options in the game. I hate invisible walls, and they should have allowed you to leave the property while she's in the house. If you get too far from the house, she spawns in her car and runs you down or something. You can knock on the neighbors' doors, but the lights are all out so they won't help you. She hears you knocking and spawns behind you. And let us let the pizza man inside. Maybe he disappears and you find his dead body later.
Anyway, it's still a great game and all and I think it's an improvement on previous games in the series. I understand that the more branching paths you create the longer it'll take to get the game out. But it'd be nice to update each episode after some time and give us more branching paths.
I think you would not have the exact time to hide in there. She will hear you, and...😅

It would be cool to leave the house but I'm pretty these games are based on true events and the person that experienced this didn't leave😅 (Idk how else to explain this so sorry if it doesn't make sense)
When I first played this I totally thought that creepy basement would play a bigger part than just a place to get dog food.
That slow walking animation is so creepy.
Her ankle as well looks broken or something. She defo had a limp 😭
I remember the one jumpscare that got me was when she was outside by the garage and attacked you. She has no knife so I guess she just chokes you lol. As well you can see a knife missing out the rack in the kitchen.
That knife missing is such a small little detail but it just makes it!
The replayability of all the episodes is cool

One thing I saw is when you get the roses if you leave them in the first floor and go up , when you have to turn off the oven once you return to the room with the computer the roses are on the floor

I was very impressed with this game when I met her a year ago. She really got even better. I didn't think that episode 3 would be so voluminous and diverse, but still it is slightly inferior to episode 2. "Horror's has really reached a new level"
Yeah I get you! 1 still is my fave I think! 2 is a close second though! I do love this concept of came like you said like volumninous there is so much in it and little moments and things to find! I love how everything ties in as well and a 2nd play through means you will see things you missed :)
@@IridosGaming Yeah, you are absolutely right. I was shocked to learn that Holly was being followed by two stalkers. Moreover, the man in white was present almost from the very beginning, and it's creepy. "At first I thought he saw her at the motel, and only then did he start following her."

I didn't know you could look underneath the blinds, a few youtubers were too scared to do so (fair play since the only way I would play this is on the toilet without embarrassing myself).
Hahaha I play most of these games only looking at them with one eye cause I have my head turned to the side to try not see them proper the first time while I get used to where the jumpscares are haha!

I think subtle horror is the most effective horror.
I actually did one thing when you can see her without her seeing you. It’s weird but it works because the game itself is a little buggy. 😂 This is the trick and I don’t know if anyone’s tried this but I’ll say it anyway. When you come back from the store, just park your bike in the front of garage door. And then when the part comes where the power is out, come outside but don’t go to the power switch thing where Zeke is barking. Now, you know where Cara is because she’s on the side of the garage, right? So, I got on the bike and I rode it to where she was and you can just see her without her chasing you and ending the game. You can ride up towards her like right in front of her and she doesn’t even bat an eye.
This one was waaay scarier than the first two

When you get back in the house after repairing the electricity you get message from an unknown number
If you are near the "dont disturb under any circonstance" room you can ear the phone of the girl ringing/buzzing in the room when you character respond to the message

Hey, hope you have a wonderful day, i didn't notice cara exiting the shop and her car too, i've noticed her car parked outside but i didn't know it was her car. i didn't see her when the oven started to work. the game was great and the girl got me when i went down to see the oven (without checking the camera first) did you experience the bad ending on your first playthrough?
Thanks so much hope you do as well! I didn't even see her the first time someone who commented pointed it out to me! No word of a lie I think she killed me about 7-10 times before I actually figure out how to get past her haha! And then it takes such a long time from the black out to get back to when she confronts you at the door I was nearly singing with happiness when I figured it 😂
@@IridosGaming the developer really did a great job with that oven part because you can be frustrated on how to turn off the oven without getting jumpscared, i liked that she's waiting for you on that kitchen corner which is a blind spot for the camera , i tried to run from her , that was a terrifying jumpscare

you missed one easter egg. When the power goes off, if you instead go to the garage door, outside the house, she will be hiding next to that door, waiting for you.

If i recall correctly when watching Jack play you can see her walking towards the area where cuts the power from the house when you look at the camera to see the flowers
Somebody once pointed out that Noah points out Carson’s room smells of wet clothes when he goes in there and it’s raining outside, implying she probably was already in at that point, but it kind of doesn’t match the timeline
Hmmmm that is an interesting theory though! It was a weird comment to say 🤔 the say with tv shows and games etc no line is accidental. There is a reason for it 🤔
@@IridosGaming Yeah I see no real other reason why Noah would say that. Sure the game does kind of paint Carson as suspicious as a kind of red herring before we learn who the real antagonist is but I can’t imagine what else could it be alluding to.
