    After watching all your videos on TH-cam, I’ve taken it on the course twice now. Hit some of the longest drives I’ve hit in years and am hitting pure shots with my short irons, however Struggling with my long irons though. It’s time to take it to the next level and join world class golf. Thank you Craig and I look forward to on line lessons. It’ll be my first lessons in 20 years.

    I’ve looked at face on videos of my swing till I was blue in the face but couldn’t understand why my hands weren’t getting forward enough and why I was flipping and adding loft resulting in very high drives. After watching this and looking down the line, I saw straight away my right hip was turning high, as you describe, causing me to throw the club. This instruction is gold and truly world class, thank you 👍

      Your problem sounds like mine. It seems like there is a wall to my left (I'm right handed), and my hands, arms, and club NEVER seem to go all the way through to the top.

    Absolutely wonderful advice on getting lead hip higher than left hip so you can come into the ball with arm, wrist ,lower and upper body at desired angles for proper impact. Wish i had known this 50 years ago!

    Craig another enlightening video...evidence based material and working to mimic them will give players the patience to keep working on the moves until they can consistently pull them off.

      @@CraigHansonGolf great informative lesson Craig ! I have trouble getting to the top of backswing. How big a role does the right arm and hand play ? We were told decades ago.. just goes along for the ride. Thank you so much for any help .

    Great video, undoubtedly sound information. Could, perhaps, only be made better by including some “how” to achieve these positions. I get the copy and imitate the great players but I’m sure they have feels or thoughts in order to help them achieve the position. For example the pro I have lessons with tells me that
    “he feels” like he’s always trying purposely trying to pull the ball. Why you might ask… he does this “feel” in order to make sure his chest opens up through impact. If you can tag some suggestions for feels or thoughts on to the back of your videos that would be excellent. Sorry for the long comment. I do really like your instruction. 👍

      Thanks Ian,
      I appreciate the post. I have a 20 + video Driver series on WorldClassGplf.Com Trackman, Flightscope Numbers. With feels and drills and practice programs.
      I can’t release everything on TH-cam. TH-cam you need big bold headings and thumbnails other wise videos just don’t get clicked on. Thanks for talking the time to post that’s very nice of you
      👍

    OOPs meant right hip!

  • @pohoresky
    @pohoresky 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does this apply to iron swings as well getting the lead hip higher than the right hip at impact. I suppose the only thing that changes is the ball position being further back for irons. Is that worth a video?
