    I have this and it fits great on a 7.5 inch wrist. Runs +7 secs per day. Its a more subtle alternative to my Bluesy which I've worn every day for a very long time and whose tritium dial died long ago.

    This white dial is beautiful! May consider this over the sla079 someday. Thanks for sharing your experience! Wear it in good health man. 👍

    I completely agree, have a bunch of 4r movements. Turtle (3), Monster (1), no problems even my 7s are solid. The SPB 143 is my only 6r. I'll just have to go to an SLA. Nice Watch 👍

      Thanks. Yeah, idk what it is about the 6Rs? But, I've been shaken enough that I lost faith in anything that uses one.. which is unfortunate cause Seiko has a number of nice models that use it that I would have liked to have owned had it not used a 6r based movement. Anyways, I guess if upgrading in the Seiko line up from entry to lower mid level models go all the way and skip the bs in between.. at least for now.

      @@khronokrazeare you referring to the 6R35 movement? I own the SBDC033 Blumo and the SPB105 MM200 both with the 6R15 and have no issues with them . Nothing beats the 8L35 movement 👍🏻

    • @khronokraze
      @khronokraze  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@1968jpy yeah. I'm not saying there are no good examples of them..of course not. Just my own experience has been mostly negative and thus will never consider another Seiko that has a 6R based movement. Skipping up market to an 8L, as I have done here.. even a 6L would be more favorable.. they are more 8L than 6R, actually. Or, I'd consider the lower group with a 4R.
      But, so far my 8L35 has been running pretty solid and great.

    Beautiful watch, Seiko should give it the clasp from the seiko LX diver .

      Well, this is actually under the Seiko Prospex lone, if I'm not mistaken. But, I would have preferred the Marinemaster ratcheting clasp. Oh, well.. I don't need it and it fits just fine as is. But, it would have been better.

    I bought a Marine Master clasp off of eBay for one of my watches and had the same issue that you say you your having with yours. I used a pair of pliers taped the ends of the pliers to not damage the clasp and problem solved 👍🏻

      I tried to reshape the part that was seemingly deformed. But, it didn't seem to do anything..so, I said f* ck it. Just return it and try again later. Idk? I really don't need it. I got a perfect fit as is. It's just something that would be cool to have to add to the Marinemaster set of tricks.

    The 6r family has always been iffy. Remember that the sarb017 alpinist had a 6r movement and cost $350 before seiko went upmarket. 4r movements were found in seiko monsters that cost around $250. 4r and 6r are lower middle movements. With seiko its best to save your money and skip the middle range of movements and go to the top of the range. Or go to Grand Seiko which are better wat hes in every respect. Dont let the new price structure make you forget. A 50 cent pencil that now costs $200 is still a 50 cent pencil. Beautiful watch tho and I'm glad they are shrinking the proportions. I'll pick one up

    I’d get the white dial too. The black would look too much like my sla021

    • @khronokraze
      @khronokraze  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      True. But, there are some detail differences. Most notably the size. If you wanted that basic classic black diver look but can't quite pull off wearing +44mm, the SLA079 is a great way to go.

    Can U tell us where U buy bracelet that will replace this one, I found something but dont know is it fit or not, I ask because I gonna buy this watch but I dont like this extender, so I wanna change that, so where we can find original stainless steel bracelet for this seiko but without extender like this one have thx

    • @khronokraze
      @khronokraze  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not going to replace the entire bracelet. Maybe just the clasp. Just look for one from the Marinemaster 300 bracelet that has the ratcheting extension. They've been around for many years.
