- The final actual day of the trail as I walk inland to the Cape. What an amazing adventure over the two weeks and yet I had to get back home. If I’m honest the trail had its ups and downs and I covered every one of them 🤣

It was good to talk to those that walked the coast path to the Cape. The firing range wouldn’t be fun to cross with some heavy kit flying in 🤕🫣

@madmikesworld5713 Look forward to that map. Curious as to what the black badge was on your shirt. Any kit unhappy with?
@ericthearfaviking7579 the badge is TOG24 a Yorkshire clothes manufacturer. Because I’ve used the kit on other long distance walks I should say all was ok but it wasn’t. The tent let me down and so did the air bed. I shall cover kit issues soon.

Reality has me now planning my next adventure as long as my knee sorts itself out. I’ve a few videos in the pipeline covering kit and I’m tempted on filming a bit of a fun video. 😇

I enjoyed every video and nice to get a glimpse into Mad Mike’s world your an interesting character.
I got to the MOD fence with my dad and brother and the flag was flying low visibility and raining. I said Dad we shall have to turn back he said Fuck that I’ve come all this way we are going on regardless.
We were the first people that year on the trail to arrive at the Ozone cafe.

It really is one of those trails that does have everything and more. I confess I was lucky with the weather but I did carry the kit for that what happens moment. 😁. Thank you for donating to such an amazing cause.

Yep clear of the bug that would fell a giant 😁. My knee is my only worry as I’ve a 100km non stop in September to do. I was looking at Camino ingles.

I've loved watching your CWT videos and itching to do it now. Daft question: how did you navigate your way?
I downloaded the route onto OS maps which is all I needed to use on the walk. I would recommend getting maps of areas if you are unsure.

I like to listen to music and see or feel what I saw/felt when I first heard it. If that makes any sense.
Until your next tour de force I might go back and watch your C to C, where I first came across your channel.

The music comes from TH-cam and I will send you the names. I’ve had issues with music in the past, so I just use theirs. I find more music I use the longer the upload is. This series I’ve only used eight tunes but some of them used a lot more often.
@@madmikesworld5713 thank you and yes I noticed that. That's what I liked about it. There were two or three main themes emphasizing the beauty of the countryside and the continuity of the trail ( t'would be a lot easier to say all this in German, I tell you).
There seem to be tons of free music out there. Some AI I guess. I like Hampus Naeselius's music. All he asks for, is to be mentioned in the description box. Which is only fair.
