what?!?! how long is the prologue? I considered it to be done after getting dropped off at the apartment. HOW LONG IS THIS GAME IF I AM NOT EVEN OUT OF THE PROLOGUE YET?
Mind Over Magnet is the game I would recommend to someone who never played a puzzle game before, I think this game really suits the role of being accessible to beginners.
Your last minute sprint to catch up with this series before this year is over is really inspiring for me, who has left a few things lying by the wayside over the year as well. I hereby solemly swear to also get caught up on my work before years end!
To respond to your point that everyone here is interested in game design and that’s why we watch you, i’d like to add that I enjoy learning in general and your videos are just well crafted. You made me interested in the development of games by your videos on crafting, consumables, cities, etc. I didn’t really think about it before your videos. So thank you!
I’m so glad I waited to play it after the 2.0 update. I finished it and the dlc a few months ago but I already want to dive back in with a completely different build and character.
@@drgonzo123 The 2.0 update is great, but honestly, sometimes I miss the early game jank. Some of my favourite memories came from the bugs :) Like when the car summon feature bugged and my cars would drive away from me like I was some cyberpsycho. It was beautiful. Buuuut I will definitely take the game in its current state!
I'm excited to hear more of your thoughts on Cyberpunk the further you get into it. Night City is absolutely one of my favorite cities. The world they built, the characters you meet and the amazing soundtrack make Cyberpunk one of my top 10 video games.
Man I love this video so much. it's amazing to see someone experience cyberpunk 2077 and get past the negatives and enjoy night City and it's characters
The man did it! He's filly caught up and filling us in. Cant wait to see what else you play. Mind over Magnet is truly unmatched in mixed media. The fact we've been seeing Mark work on it over all of these years just makes it more awesome.
the ongoing bit in TGYH with the neighbors arguing about the trash can and how it evolves is maybe the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in a video game. also lol. excited to hear how you feel about cyberpunk.
no way! i usually space out these videos (because i don't know when the next one's gonna come) but now i can watch em freely! We've been spoilt more than if we were left a Cadbury's milk tray on the bed, with an insulting note
I've also played Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty this year and loved the game, I recommend playing both at your first run so both stories can connect more. Greetings from Brazil!
watching you experience Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time has me realize that I'm becoming more and more like my V in real life, and I think what that really means is that the game hit so close to home with so many specific experiences I've had irl that it really let me explore how I feel about them & how they impact my perception of myself, in a real and profound way. I was skeptical of the game before getting into it, but it just keep growing on me. anyways we all miss u Jackie 😔🙏 realest G there ever was 🥀🕯
With what was mentioned around the 3:00 mark, I might reference Baldurs Gate 3. I've sank hundreds of hours into both Cyberpunk 2077 & Baldurs Gate 3 (top two games!) and, though I wasn't playing BG3 at early access, I know the game spent a while in early access as they developed. The final result had BG3 becoming a vastly different and improved game! I definitely argee that Cyberpunk could've benifited from that approach. You can blatantly see it with the DLC (Highly reccomend the dlc!) where the quality is far superior and the writing is better. There's just a bit more meat that makes the finale feel more earned than base game cyberpunk :) Also note, over time the ending of Cyberpunk 2077 grew on me. I won't spoil it, but just like Night City itself, it's hard to find an ending that will truly satisfy. But that's the point, it fits the world and builds on the themes of the game. I think it's great :) Good luck on Cyberpunk! Taking your time with the world will make you realise it was a huge labour of love, even in the smallest places (and hey, they're still releasing extra updates despite saying 2.1 was the final one!)
if you loved the cyberpunk prologue you are in for one hell of a ride. I really recommend buying the Phantom Liberty dlc when you're done with the main game, it's on the same level of incredible storytelling, characters, action, etc
Man, the music from Cyberpunk ALWAYS gets me 🥹 And, yeah Night City is incredible. The layout of the map is actually really great too, and the more I spent time in it, the easier I found to get around naturally.
How funny would it be if Raz stops making these now that it's finally up to date (It would not be funny Raz please keep making them) Edit: I JUST FINISHED THE VIDEO AND RAZ SAID THE SAME THING lol
It'd be so funny to what now?? 🤔 Lol i can't believe we made it to December so quickly - looking forward to the new year! Or not, whatever happens. 😆 Happy holidays!
You should make a series where you try and play 1 game a week that you’ve missed/haven’t played ever. Like if you have never played ico or kingdom hearts then play those in January and February and give a review/video essay.
Oh man, youre in for a lot of hurt with cyberpunk. Just please, please play phantom liberty before finishing the story for the first time. Wish i had the possibility to experience it as a whole for the first time
i see that on cyberpunk, when you are driving u switch to controller, i do the same many times because driving on keyboard feels so clumsy and controller feels much smoother 🤣🤣
I think your comments about SP early access @ 2:35 are interesting but pretty far off. CDPR wasn’t surprised by how bad the games launch was (even if that was their PR messaging); they have QA teams, who likely had thousands of their reports marked as “Known, shippable.” For whatever reason, the decision-makers felt like they couldn’t delay further and decided to release the game in that state.
Did I make it sound like I thought CDPR was surprised? Not my intent-my point was that they essentially released an early access game without messaging to players that that was the case as they scoped a game too big for the deadline they had. I feel like we are saying the same thing?
played a little more cyberpunk today lmao
I wish I was you
This is so funny 😆 have fun lol
soo... I take it you've got hurt, huh? that line really was only missing a curb your enthusiasm theme or the "to be continued" from JoJo lol
Only 3 games? Come on bro. Even I'm beating s game every couple of days

@@razbutwowhen you meet Johnny, the prologue ends, the game is like 30 hours, more if you do a lot. The prologue is about 6 hourd
I had the exact same thought...
@@razbutwo The prologue is like 6h long but the whole game is surprisingly not that long (comparing to tw3 at least)
@@razbutwoMy first play though when it came out was 90+ hours 😅
I think Raz has developed a Time Machine to catch up on all these games
Shoutout to GMTK. Mark really deserves his flower's

Cyberpunk is amazing, and the Phantom Liberty DLC is one of the best things I’ve ever played/experienced.

I’m currently playing Mind Scanners, which some have said is a papers please ripoff, but I think it’s an homage and a damn amazing one at that.
It is complete. He won. Rejoice 🏆
As a very cartoonish Yorkshireman, I think you found my game
Raz is such a cool guy. I want to hug Raz
I'm a simple guy-I see cyberpunk in the thumbnail, I click.
I decided to watch this video at 2am and now I want to continue my cyberpunk playthrough instead of sleeping.
See you guys tomorrow for "Games I played in December" and the day after tomorrow for "Games I played in January"
The day finally came, you're all caught up! Love this series 😁
First time watching you. Nice channel! Subbed! Keep it up!
I feel like Mind Over Magnet and Mark Brown are now the Video Game version of Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud
How funny would it be if Raz stops making these now that it's finally up to date
(It would not be funny Raz please keep making them)
Edit: I JUST FINISHED THE VIDEO AND RAZ SAID THE SAME THING lol
"I'm excited to see how they will exploit it in order to hurt me"-They will hurt you very badly.
Raz is so back, he's caught up 🙌
Raz said he didn't pick Baldur's Gate because he's still in Act 1, bro hasn't even reached Act 1 of Cyberpunk😭lil' bro is still in the prologue
The difference is you start in the city in Cyberpunk
