𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 • After Q&A 2024 world cup judges instructions, I wonder if 3:09 and 3:48 are considered as different apparatus technical element (unstable balance, hands, side of the body). If so, the second DB would be considered not valid, though it would not change the final ranking. Any thoughts? -> I feel like a broken record saying this but: this is a video review, so obviously the scores are going to be much lower than official scores and somtimes much harsher. It's kind of like a different reality, not absolute truth about what should have been. -> I hesitated heavily for Stiliana Nikolova character penalty as well as Sofia , before decided to be quite harsh, in my opinion, with a 0.3 penalty. They are close enough for a 0.0, being far above everyone in that area. I hesitated about putting an expression penalty for Kaleyn, Nikolova and Vedeneeva (although the final result is not affected by it). I hesitated less about Varfolomeev because I find the last part after the dance steps, especially What do you think ? ❤Thanks to my 3 patreons who keep sticking to me all those months despite me not posting anything. But now here I am! I think you were a bit harsh with Daria in the character part. I think you can easily add for the character movements these moments: 0:52 you counted similar things as characters so idk why not this 1:03 a bit tricky but I think the hand movement has some character part in it 1:05 same as here 1:10 1:13 1:16 it’s a very small detail but I think you can count the hand here too I do think she has here a problem with the parts of the body in which she does the character movements (mainly the hand) but I think 0.5 is worthy for this routine. Also about Sofia, I think 7:30 can easily be counted as an effect. I was surprised you didn’t count that
I think I definitly should have added 1:13 (that's definitly an oversight) and 0:52 probably. I think it's between 1 and 0.5. The elements you gave even though they show character and are numerous (good quantity) are still lacking in quality (they are too subtle/common) in my opinon and I needed to differenciate the character in this routine from Varfolomeev, Vedeneeva and Kaleyn, put into comparison, who have either much more details and/or some very specific moves. For Raffaeli effect, I'm thinking...🤔 I noticed this moment as well because it's beautifully synchronised with the music but it didn't strike me as an effect but that's maybe because I'm so used to it? (sorry for this poor reasoning, I don't have a definitive answer)
its crazy the amount of work you put into this!!! Interesting how most of the times they are penalised for not keep the balances at least 1 sec. Is this criteria too harsh or is everyone just rushing into the coreography (aka, trying to get as much difficulty as possible)?
Thank you so much!! I think it's a mix of both reasons: the criteria is felt as too harsh (judges are more incentivized to give 0.1 penalty than a 0.3) especially since everyone mostly hold their balance for half a second for choreography reason (aka difficulty as you said). It's more seen as penalty for gymnasts kicking the leg.
You mean, you'd see it as 0.4+0.2? The code says "2 consecutive apparatus Base are evalutaed as 2 separate DA only when there is a clear end to (stop after) the first Base/DA, before the second Base/DA is started." Here, there is no stop between the end of the roll and the throw; the ball is not blocked at the end of the feet and then throw. So, it's only a 0.4 DA. And there can be no extra point for the DA having two consecuive Bases (not a catch from a large throw).
Is it physically possible though, to perform fouette rotations, or any kind of rotation really, without squeezing the ball? I think it is just a matter of how good you can hide it 😂😂 (joking.....but seriously, I mean how can they?)
Indeed, the best way to avoid it is by favoring handling that avoid or make the squeeze less noticeable (arm stretched over the head, handling with ball moving hands to hands, hide behing leg/back) and the type of rubber (good grip is the KEY, some colors/texture make the squeeze less noticeable).
Yes the timer was fine but the last element (roll DA) is missing character to be counted into it in my opinion. It was a way for me to express my doubt about whereas this dance steps was valid or not. I finally decided to rule it out as not valid.
Ils sont présents à la fin (25:51) ;) Je mets le timestamp dans la description. J’essaierais de faire en sorte que cela soit plus accessible la prochaine fois.
Hello, It's because the gymnast (in individual, it's different for group) has to do 3 complete pre-acrobatic rotations below the flight. Here there are only 2.5 (one during the throw, so not fully below the flight). Here is why :)

I was waiting for this video 😍
I only found Stiliana Nokolova's routine interesting & exciting ❤ can't wait to see her in Paris
Fantastica come sempre! Thank you!
Thank you!
20:46 btw, have you seen that in her new routines she actually does this part? It’s always good to see gymnasts who fix those things (:
Yes! it is!
Great video, loved the continuation of the Suk Serenade form the last vid!
Ah thank you! I had to cut into it to make it fit the duration of some parts, I hope it wasn't too surprising!

how come you didn’t count boryana’s first set of dance steps? the timer went for the exact same time as the second dance steps and you counted those

This is the problem by judging...@@ClematisRGVideos
ca serait super si tu mettais le score total que chacune ont obtenus pour qu'on puisse faire la comparaison avec tes notes !

Hello
I wanted to know
Why you didn’t count the serie criteria on sofias risk at 6:45
Hello,

The fact that Russia is banned from competing but not Israel is truly mindblowing. Or it would be in a sane society.
Borywnw needs a choreograph urgently
Nickolova good job:-)
Atamanov catches the ball with her elbows bent
Rafaelly not bad:-)
Varfolomeeva Dasha excellent beauti, it feels Russian shcool:-)
