I own a 2013 C30 T5 R-Design myself, but it's in Cosmic White Metallic, and it's the 6 speed manual option. Best first car purchase anyone could ever do. It sounds amazing, handles amazingly, and it's quite practical for my daily use. I love my C30 to death, and it's the best maintained of all my families cars.

I owned this vehicle. Nice car when new. But I traded it because of the terrible tire wear at less that 10K, and the leather seats pealed after less that one year of use. I had to replace the seat twice.
What the hell were you doing to the seats? I bought a 2010 Volvo v50 r used with 157k on her with the same interior and the seats were in near perfect condition. The tire wear issue also sounds like you were doing some beating on the car. Maybe it's due to owners abuse?
Not sure about that seat issue. I had an S40 from 2012, same seats. I just took the care to lower the driver's seat to the lowest point so my ass would not compress the seat cushion when I entered the car. 4 years and the leather, when I sold the car, was as good as the first day.

I have the 2008 c30 D5 R-Design manual, it really is an awesome first car and it goes like a rocket when you put your foot down!

might be a bit late but it sounds like your tires were misaligned, that ate 3 sets for my father before he learned about it.
OpenRobotix Labs I have a 2012 and I’ve had the same issue with the seats. The best part is that I just had to replace 2 wheel bearings at 110k miles
