- Look at the masterful flying by the pilot of this Air Tractor turbine-powered agricultural aircraft -- a crop duster in the old-school terminology -- as the aircraft weaves, climbs, and dives to match rolling farm terrain dotted with tall trees, antennas, and utility poles near Eltopia, Washington, in June 2023.
It's an aerial ballet that never gets old to watch.

I have watched these planes at work since I was a little boy (I'm now 76 years old). It is very captivating watching them do a great job. They used to land on the road running past our farm to reload. It was a very long time ago, I am glad to see them still flying. Thanks for the video.
I remember a small airport in the San Joaquin Valley we would visit when I was a kid, and a row of four of five Stearman biplanes parked in the sun when they weren't out dusting.

A few years ago I took some people over towards Loma Rica, Ca to see some rice fields being seeded. Got to see some skilled flying along the DWR high tension lines. The kids were amazed. The bonus was the U-2 flying practice approaches to Beale that day.
Seeding is an operation we don't always think of when we see an agplane. Interesting!
Ive been to the Tri Cities Rocketeers launches in Eltopia/Sagemoore the past two years and ive seen this exact plane buzz our launches from the edge of the range taking off and landing. We love seeing her out there during the clubs launches
