Got a few questions because I’m in the process of restoration!
1.What type of airgun is being used for that redye process?
2.What type of black paint(brand) is being used to repaint the toe boxes and what size paint brush is that?
3.What’s the exact finish being used to protect the toe box?
4.What’s the defender Vic is talking about to protect the freshly died suede?
I asked the same question but from my understanding Angelus has many different colors and anytime u paint u have to put that finisher to protect the paint from coming off and idk what kind of airbrush and paint brush but they do sell similar kits the last question I'm looking further into now but I think it's to protect the suede after u finish like repellent or suede prtector

Love your work! I’m old school and use simple household cleaners to keep my Jordan collection looking A1. I hate to see shoes in such good condition thrown away because original owners are too lazy to take care of their stuff. Glad you intervene and got those 13’s before they were thrown away,

The redye is 🔥. They never get the red right on these. Only the 04's and ogs are perfect

Interesting video, got a thumbs up from me. One question I had though is, did you run the brass brush on the suede while the paint was still drying? If so, how would you clean off the brass brush so you don't accidentally brush another color suede and risk the red paint getting on them?
Vick waited for the dye to dry before he brushed the suede. To clean on the bristles you're going to want to brush or wipe of with a damp cloth. You want to be cautious not to soak the bristles.
Do you do this just for fun or this a business cause I have few pairs that I need restored ASAP
What do you charge? I have some OG 13s that are no where near the condition of these, but I'd like to bring them back to life.
What gives the best results a paint brush or air brush?

I have the same ones the date that they were made was 04/15/2011. The suede on the soul's are darkened with quick cure resin and hardener.Ive been trying to take it out by peeling it off. I need a full restoration on these. They are a size 8.5.

could you use some Dads spray on the hard bristle brush to remove the paint off the bristles? or is there another way to remove it that wouldnt ruin the brush?
Could you do a restoration video on Cap and Gown Retro 13s? I own a pair and the material on the front (which I believe is suede but I'm not sure) does tend to get a little dirty which came as expected but I'm not too sure on what does the best job with cleaning them and making them look new again. Thanks!
I'm very late to the party on this, but I figured I'd try anyway. Just bought some $30 Pure Money 13 lows on ebay. Person who had them last tried to customize them by coloring the suede black (Not sure what the thought was behind that)... not concerned with being out the money if it doesn't work out. Any thoughts on how to possibly get the color out of the suede? I have acetone, but I assume that'll just destroy the fabric

We recommend only brushing in one direct.

Yes we always suggest cleaning in a circular motion with the suede and all purpose brush.
