Thank you for this guide, I just installed it in my 2013 Lacrosse (premium). Unfortunately though, it doesn't seem to fully support all climate controls. So far I can only get it to defrost, as well as heat or ventilate the seats. Temperatures are set to "auto", so I am unable to select a specific temperature. I also have no control over the fan speed or direction. Any ideas on this? Did I mess something up or is the 2013 model just not going to be all the way compatible? Hello, try to change the CAN BUS settings, on my car too AC didn't work properly, I changed the settings, that helped. I also mentioned in the video. Try to reach out to seller if you couldn't figure out.
Yes, you will have to pick the correct profile from car settings in canbus box decoder. Ask the seller which profile to pick. Sometimes its mentioned in the description of the product too.

Or buy with android auto/ carplay functionality. 3. Or you can buy one with SIM tray, then you can install the mobile SIM in it.
Never saw you actually put the head unit back in. The issue is the bracket that goes across the center for mounting actually blocks you from putting in the replacement unit. Be aware if you are putting this in a Buick.
Exactly I have the same unit and I tried to install it myself and I had the same problem I was going to take to an audio shop and let them do it because one place it's particular cut that have to be made to install that.

For my car, all that functionality was in dash, as my car had no touch screen, just had radio. But I did install after market android radio in my corolla, for that it had all the car settings like light and door settings.
Its the canbox settings (usually under vehicle settings menu) and its different with different canbox decoders. So check the seller or try the one which is similar to your make and model.

It depends on the radio, the one in the video fitted fine no issues. But I helped someone to install the radio like a month ago, it didn't fit, I had to cut the plastic piece, in the center from the dash

I sold the car, otherwise I could have made the video, but its easier, just run the cable along the headliner. There are videos on TH-cam, How to install the backup camera just follow any of those. There is camera wire on most of the after market headunits. Just connect the camera wire.

Yes, for some cars you will have to cut the middle plastic part. For AC, change the Canbox settings under factory settings, its mentioned in the video as well.
Sorry didn't open TH-cam from last few weeks. If I remember correctly, you will have the select the correct player from the head unit. I remember it took me 5 mins to find that. There should be Bluetooth icon.
Yo my car is having issues with this type of screen. I have a buick regal 2013 and i tried installing a new touch screen tesla stereo. The problem is, is that everytime i turn on the vehicle for the first time it boots up just fine, but when i start my vehicle up a second time the screen just goes black but i can hear all the audio and radio noises. I rebooted the battery from under the hood so that could restart the screen. That works but only if i do that every single time i start my car up a second time. Does anyone have a solution for this??
Looks like a software glitch. Try doing factory reset on the head unit. If that doesn't help reach out to seller and get a firmware from them, and try reinstalling the firmware.
Check the wiring, these are generic head unit, just try a different wiring harness to check. You don't need to connect to car , just test on your work bench or take to any repair shop. They can check if the unit is functional or not.
Oh and tried to reach out to seller no response. And how do i access the canbus.there is no option for that in my settings and the factory settings password doesn't work they sent all 8 doesn't work 123456 doesn't work 3888 doesn't work please help

To be honest I didn't check the heated seats, I sold the car, so can't check it. May be message the seller, to check if its there in climate control.

No factory maps won't work, I downloaded google maps instead, or android Auto/ car play. But steering controls works fine

Works but only if you have the correct harness.

The screen comes with extra small speaker, did you connect that speaker, that is for warning sounds 5:14
