Beginners (both Basic Beginners and Advanced Beginners), please let me know if this level is good for you. Intermediate and Advanced learners, please do not comment. I would like to make sure we have one of these a week that works for beginners. Thanks!
Hi Steven, have you heard of this? It should be a great opportunity for beginners: docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vRn66MWcB7gY6neqlbjb8vOhMoC6DpFepTcZWF62vnDWdkJgLmDYde7RsrYlWriHmemGp53xyoFnybN/pub?start=true&loop=false&delayms=5000&slide=id.gdda1705924_0_0
this was a good level for me at the basic beginner level and i still have a few stories to finish and about 20ish videos to finish on the picture description videos. i was just checking these out to see if i have made a little progression. Looks like your method works!!! ahhahaha
2 videos into this playlist, and I love the pace. I was just thinking about the first video I watched on the B0 playlist, how simple and slow it was, yet how utterly confused I was. I thought Ae and Ying were words and, at one point, I thought they were saying that 8=0 when saying there were 8 students in the class! Now, it's quicker and more conversational but I'm following with ease. :)
I like all of the fruits and veggies shown in this lesson, but celery I only like when cooked, in a soup for example. Also, I don't like the smell of durian, but it tastes much better! I didn't know about the no beer with durian rule, interesting! I think I understood about 90%, very easy to follow. Thanks :)
Durian reminds me of my favorite chewing gum as a child. Wrigley's Juicy Fruit. I am convinced they were inspired by the taste of Durian when they came up with that flavor of gum! I love to eat Durian with my beautiful wife when it comes in season but only in small doses.. waan mac! Interesting that you don't recommend with beer or alcohol.. may I ask why? Is it because of the high sugar?
It is common knowledge in Thailand. See below. krungthai-axa.co.th/en/health-advisories/durian-benefits Did you know that you should never consume durian and alcoholic drinks at the same time? Medical research has discovered relatively high levels of sulfur in durian, an element that inhibits the function of an enzyme in the liver (aldehyde dehydrogenase) that breaks down the toxicity of aldehyde caused by alcohol metabolism in the body. As a result, those who eat durian together with alcoholic drinks risk being poisoned by increased aldehyde which may manifest as rashes. So don’t eat durian with any kind of alcoholic beverage.

@@tooturnt8824 Awesome!
So much fun watching you two!! Learning a lot too!! Thanks so much.. :)
Kruu Fah was amazing in this one
A very fun lesson. Compared to B1, B2 seems to be more dynamic and more loose. But the video is understandable and pleasant to watch. Way to go.

I have not acquired a taste for durian due to the smell
ที่จริงมะเขือเทศเป็นผลไมครับ
That's the botanical definition, but even in America for culinary and nutritional purposes they are treated as vegetables.
What is truly surprising and different is that Thais consider limes to be veggies (because they only cook with them)! 555...
ผมชอบทุเรียนมากๆ แต่มันก็แพงมากๆ ด้วยนะครับ
For sure
Haha though I am a Singaporean but I don’t like Durian. It definitely smell worst than blue cheese. 90% comprehensible
Wow, Flora you are making great progress.
