I just wanted to reach out and say how great you are as an instructor. I have completed the Google UX Professional Certificate and i can honestly say i learnt more from this, its so much easier to understand. Such an informal way of teaching is so much better for someone like me who has ADHD. I found it difficult to stay motivated with the google course as it was too formal and text based ! Great work

I should have realized XD has the same steps I learned in college but the terminology was flowchart and pseudocode. Those words are cool but it is a bit frustrating when everything I worked so hard to learn is nowhere to be found. Then after much hardship to find out what I already learned was changed to some other terms. The college received their money so they don't care. I can code as well so this course will be combined with my other diverse technical knowledge base. Websites need to go back to being more functional without wasting so much space that is so distracting. I want that choice to be there for anyone who wants it on their screen.
Does anyone here experience frequent freezing or being unable to rename a text or copy-paste a text in Adobe XD? I don't experience this when I just started running XD, but more on when the software has been running for a while like in 1-2 hrs, then it will start behaving badly. On average, I have to restart Adobe XD 6 times to make things run smoothly again.
Hi Dan, I’m a newbie looking to create a website on adobe portfolio and wanting to jazz up the site using XD embeds. My question is….in the ‘what is XD for’ section you mention that XD is essentially a tool for designers to create websites/assets that would then need to go to developers for coding. Yet in the instance of using XD assets as an embed, would that be an exception since the asset can be used as a live component without coding? Hoping I’m making sense 😅

Hi, on 1:02:14 you seemed to align the box with "buy now" perfectly. I can't do the same. When I press on align middle and align center the text goes a noticeable amount down from where it needs to be. It doesn't align in a perfect center.
