I would agree with you if the Toyota was close to the competition but they aren’t unfortunately The LC500 Beautiful car but it cost 120k for a v making 420hp or you can get a Porsche for 90k that has 500hp and is a better badge or get an AMG gts it’s a 550hp car with a handmade engine Take the TRD Camry it costs 42k you can get an RT charger for the same money and make 140 extra hp and get the sound of a v8 The RC is wonderful but it costs 20k more than an m2 not even the most unreliable bmw will cost you 20k In maintenance the LFA is one of my favorite cars of all time but they didn’t launch it correctly and they made it limited for no reason it could have fought the aventedore and the 458 but no they had to make it limited I hope the upcoming is500 would be price well I really want to like Toyota/Lexus

Some are not boring but the interiors are dreadful. Look at the infotainment screen, they take what looks like an aftermarket screen and clip it into a high plastic housing. The bezels are enormous.
Infotainment can be change easily after market to what you like. Mercedes hasn’t change their infoitainment for 5 years. Bringing the flat tablet in your face screen from E series in 2015 to the new entry level CLA in 2020 and fanboys call it “innovation”. Meanwhile toyota replaced the whole manufacturing process and whole platform. Adding self driving features like ACC and connecting with cars infront to follow them whenever you need a stressless drive at a price of 30K and haters coming out be like “hey Toyota infotainment sucks”. Lmao.
Toyota could do MUCH better in the interior and especially infotainment systems. I sat in a BMW, Mercedes, and Land Rover the other week and was literally blown away by the interior. Interior wise, it felt like it was way more worth it than the Lexus offerings for the price range. Of course, reliability is a Lexus thing but I'm kind of tired of hearing that when I want the other stuff as well. Tempted to mix and match a project car that combines the best of all worlds lmao.

The LC is beautiful and LFA was and is a legendary vehicle. is500 right now one of the last v8 sports sedans, gx looks good and got offroad capability, lx to a smaller extent. Lexus styling is a bit more subdued especially for the interior compared to german rivals but id argue it's just a matter of personal opinion

Competition wise here in the England you can buy a new ford fiesta ST for less and have more fun in that car than the new Corolla. But that's where I would buy the GR Yaris instead because it shows that Toyota have been back on their game recently and it's better than the ford fiesta ST. the new GR Yaris really is a great car tho

GR Corolla is new so cant speak on it but the GR Yaris was an underrated, one hell of a car, probably got even less recognition in the States bc it wasnt even sold here. But the Civic drives and handles better than the Corolla in just about every model trim comparison, the only real comparison corolla might have is the se/xse loaded corolla against a base model civic.. At least from factory, civics are much better and renowned for their sportier demeanor, Corolla would be better for the reliability and lighter steering
also looks are personal, i thought the current corolla looks better than the civic but now id take the newest gen civic, with its euro-like clean, sleek styling
