Strength IS considered to be at least approaching sentry's based on achievements,invulnerability is probably HIGHER based on achievements(not counting regeneration which isn't the same as physical durability)and since simon HAS regen capable of resurrection from the dead and regrowing whole limbs(something thor CAN'T do)it SHOULDN'T be underestimated. I could go on but just go to the marvel wikia that shows all his powers,which are VERY much like sentry,to see what I mean. I'm not saying he's as POWERFUL as sentry,I don't think he is,but he definitely could hold his own in a fight for at least a time,hour,day,etc...

Oh yes sentry could definitely rip pure adamantium like that. And yes he can resurrect people, the problem with sentry is that he can literally do anything and writers can’t write well with a character that is that powerful, so he’s now just used as a plot device. Like in King in Black#1

Spoilers: Spider-Woman is the Skrull Queen, Queen Varanki, the Skrulls kidnap and take the form of Major government officials and superheroes all across the world, Norman Osborn who hasn’t had any crazy Green Goblin fits as of lately finds a way to identify the Skrulls, the heroes use that ability, the heroes and villains form a huge team, take on the Skrulls beat them, the Skrull that was impersonating Hank Pym gets Tigra pregnant have a child with her, uses a special device on Janet(Wasp) to make her grow huge and explode, Thor use his powers puts Janet into a bubble type thing flies her outta the way, she explodes and dies, the heroes are mad mad Hawkeye (as Ronin at the time) shoots Queen Varanke in the mouth with an arrow, kills her, the Skrulls surrender, Norman Osborn is put in charge of SHIELD because he is the one who found away to discover the Skrull’s identities, Tony Stark is demoted, Osborn Turns SHIELD into HAMMER(which he doesn’t know what it means but like how it sounds because it sounds more powerful because a shield is used to block but a hammer has a mighty strike), finds all of Ironman’s armors that were still in the SHIELD Helicarrier, forms his Dark Avengers and Dark X-men, and thus starts the Marvel Dark Ages where the heroes are the bad guys and the bad guys are the good guys, and this starts Dark Reign, and Seige of Asgard, afterwards Captain America is put in charge of SHIELD for leading the team that beat Osborn’s Avengers and stops Osborn! Sorry, I missed a few smaller stories here and there but that’s pretty much the timeline for about 10 years give or take. Well, if you count that Civil War happens a little bit before this story and that’s why Tony is in charge of SHIELD because he led the Superhero Pro Registration Act during the Superhero Civil War. That’s why Captain America, Luke Cage Spider-Man, Hercules, Vision, Ironfist, most of the Fantastic Four and a bunch of other heroes aren’t here. I’m missing a few things though because I’m trying to remember because around somewhere this time Bucky becomes Captain America I know it’s I think around or a little bit before Secret Invasion I’m just trying to remember where at exactly because it’s been years since I’ve read all this all the way through. But yeah that about covers most of it in Marvel 616 from about 2001-2009 or 10 lol. My bad again if some of this is off by a little bit because again it’s been years since I’ve read most of this! I’ve read some here and there sporadically, but it’s been since like the actual 2000s since I’ve read it all in order🤷🏾♂️lol.

I miss “this” avengers. Everything was new and fresh. But it all connected with the older stuff as well. The story got better and better after every arc.The Invasion, civil war, dark reign, world war hulk. Avengers vs X-men. The branching out stories like new avengers, young avengers and Illuminati. Wolverine origins made Logan very interesting. Everything went down hill when movies came out because they started to faze out characters that didn’t really make the movie cuts. Plus Bendis got woke and the soft reboots pretty much made it like all this never happened. Such a shame
