Incredible video and explanation!!
I think the best airplane now is undoubtly the Airbus A350s, which so many airlines are flying, or have already ordered.
And i think there is the same issue of performance limitation on the KC135 stratotanker which also uses 4x CFM56 engines just like the A340-200/300s.
Hence the A330 MRTT became a more viable replacement, as it has better performance i.e. able to carry more fuel & payload at one go.

I don‘t know much about planes but recently got a little interested in them. I actually flew on an Airbus A340-300 across the ocean to Cancún, twice!
