The same as Joker on summer before Ultimate launch, everybody thought it was another fake leak on 4chan.
I remember someone correctly guessing Ken, Incineroar and Piranha Plant like a good week before the direct announcing them happened.

@@manuelalbertoromero9528 To be fair, Piranha Plant have different species with different abilities put into one that makes it special in Smash Ultimate. Frogger on the other hand.....yeah.
Use his tongue, use Frog-Fu, use Magic Runes, ground pound, possibly even use the powerups from Frogger Beyond, spit Frog Goobers, all that along with being naturally agile and a prime dodger. That's not even taking into account the various items and gadgets in Forgotten Relic. :)

This video is both simultaneously intriguing and insufferable. Really though, it's mostly just annoying how easily fans hunger for info could be taken advantage of, and that they would give many of these people (and in some cases STILL give them) the time of day and feed them the attention they craved.

If there's one that I learned from the Rumors videos is that hype can be a double-edged sword. they can build excitement but it can also lead you to disappointment when what you thought you were going to get doesn't happen the way you thought

I'm really hoping Dante from Devil May Cry makes it in, I think a big shocker would be if Microsoft allowed the inclusion of Master Chief and not just Banjo-Kazooie. Not that I'm really expecting either of them, I'm just hopeful.
