Dude, 😎 you have come a long way with this car.
Love the color, and again, I'm jealous, as I don't have the patience 🙏 for body-prep or paintwork..
I tried the thinner Iceguard roofing material role, mentioned below, it does not adhere well enough for anything upsidedown.. It fell off the underside of my newly installed, freshly painted lower cowl panel after about six months. It's probably ok laying down flat. You're Killmat install looks great, it's almost a shame to cover it with carpet!!! Keep at it brother ...
Nice. The Ric Flair touch made all the difference. Now for the strut around the ring...lol
Good job. You can also use iceguard, which is a roofing product, from Home Depot. It is thinner but is so less expensive, and you can player it for maximum efficient. Don’t forget the doors too.
I used the aluminum foil tape under a roof of a van, and the reflective tape made a huge difference in reflecting heat amazingly. The foil on the kilmat does the same. Transmission tunnel is another area that holds a lot of heat.
Great job!
Thanks!
Want comments ??? I wish I had a car exactly like this one !!!! It's roooooof Alabama.
i would have done all of the roof all of the floor and doors
How many did you use on the floor? Are these the 80mil ones? I'm thinking about doing this to my 68 mustang, the floor looks exactly the same as yours.
I don’t remember off the top of my head. I have 7 or 8 sheets leftover after doing this, though. I used the thinner (I believe 40-50mil) ones. Love the Tropic Thunder avatar! 😂
