I love Ataco! You guys were so brave I chickened out of the zipline at café Albania but my aunt says she's going to make me go next month lol. Hope you guys are doing good we miss you!
I have tears dropping down, thank you! I just bumped into your videos from El Salvador this morning. My beautiful mother was born in El Salvador, but came to US real young. She would always tell us all these wonderful stories of her childhood in her beautiful El Salvador. She stopped going because of all the violence and she passed on that fear to us of her country. Now that she's gone 🕊 things are changing. Thanks to the new government. Aaaand now thanks to your videos I'm going to talk to my siblings to plan a trip to EL SALVADOR ❤ God bless you both
Oh you must do it. Your home country is amazingly beautiful and awesome. People there are wonderful and we had an amazing time. Today a new video will come out about the more raw nature side of El Salvador. We hope you enjoy feel free to share the videos with your siblings it might help make them want to do it even more. 😊
Hi Cathy, hope you read this. Your comment got me so emotional. I left El Salvador in 1990 and my half Salvadorean half American daughters grew up around my husband's family and because I was so afraid to take them to El Salvador they also just heard me talking about my life there. I just recently (this past november) took them there and we had a blast and they told me over and over again how much they loved it. I'm approaching 60 now and I don't know when I'll go back again, but after reading your comment I'm so glad my girls finally got to see my country with me. You made me realized how unbelievably sad it could've been for them if that never happened while I'm still alive. 😔
Oh my God I want to go to El Salvador now especially on those zip lines and all the other shenanigans that was going on lol! That looked wild with everything else that was happening. I saw the bicycles on the cables as well.. You all should have a TV show because your adventures are too damn cool ❤️✨❤️✨
Loved this tour in El Salvador! ❤ We can only imagine what the flowers look like when they're in bloom. It's crazy how different the prices can be when you're not local. Alex's reaction to the zip line was so funny! She was holding on for her life, videoing, and trying to enjoy all the same time! 😂 Loved it!
This was a great video. Thank you for taking us to Ruta de las Flores to see those 5 towns. :) The Zipline adventure was probably too intense for me but you both did great.
How fun the “street of flowers” looked. The food, fruit and cookies made my mouth water. I would have skipped the zip lining, especially the spiral stairs…I get dizzy on them. To be honest, the part I loved the most was Frankie playing ball with the little one…it just warmed my heart. I love that you guys can just get along with anyone. The world needs more folks like you. Thanks as always for taking us on your great adventure! 💛💛💛
Thanks for this video. We're heading to El Salvador early March 2023. This video makes me even more excited. Thanks for the heads up/reminder on being charged more as non-natives and bringing small US bills.
In El Salvador most people do not eat very spicy foods, before the hot chili that was widely consumed was the jalapeño chili because it is not too hot. saludos amigos desde California
Yalls adventure look so cool. Everywhere yall go over there is colorful. The vibe looks so positive. Nothing like what you hear about. Stay safe and Vaya con Dios 🙏 P.S your Spanish is getting pretty good 👍

Thank you so much Christina!! We are so lucky to meet amazing people on our adventures who are kind and don't make fun of our Spanish haha thank you for the love!!! xo
Yo nunca habia visitado El Salvador.
Most salvadorans do not eat spicy food, so they are safe on that side, also (minute 8:38) the name of the small town is JUAYUA NO JUJUYUA 😁 either way enjoy EL SALVADOR a lot you are very WELCOME TO EL PULGARCITO DE AMÉRICA
Typo!!! Thank you for pointing it out, I wish we could fix it but it's too late now 🙈 The food in El Salvador is delicious but you are right, not very spicy at all! Thank you for the love Papasito!
Guys the foods looked yum! Your spanish is muey bueno! Just had Howard, Katelyn, & Scout in our RV!!! WHAT?? Odds? Slim to none! But yet it happened! The thing you guys have to understand is that the price of things change depending on where you’re at, and how popular the place is, El Salvador is VERY small that’s why you don’t have to go too far to get charged $10 for 5 pupusas at a well mentioned restaurant, compared to eating a a small starting up business, growing up there and being from there I grew up living this lol 😅
Been binging and seeing all the outdoor food markets has been my favorite. Love outdoor food markets with fresh foods. Especially foods I’ve never heard of or tried. ✌️

Looks like you guys had a great day. Did you get to celebrate Thanksgiving in El Salvador if you did what did you eat for dinner? Traditional Thanksgiving meal or non traditional? A friend of mine had Chinese very non traditional, we had the traditional turkey with all the trimmings. Safe travels to you all!
Hey Shelley! We did celebrate in the van on the road just the two of us. We had black bean burgers on the beach 🍔 also very non-traditional 😅🤣 hope you enjoyed the day and got all the trimmings on your plate!

1950 prices... 🤔 That 65¢ should have been a few cents. Yep that's the value the federal reserve bankers stole from us via inflation. $1 in 1950 would be like $12.37 today. Which also means $1 today equals 8¢ in 1950.

I think they forgot to go to the little town Apaneca it's nice in the evenings very cold and foggy but it has cobblestone streets old houses and lots of picturesque murals 😳
The best coffee you could get on the way to Ataco In a place called entre nubes It has coffee from the area and the place is wonderful natural there is a small coffee plantation inside and a viewpoint
I hope they have passed to the beginning of the flower route to the city called Ahuachapán The park is very colonial with a bit of modernism La Concordia It is the most beautiful in the country right next to the park is the church, town hall and a small passage with cafeterias and restaurants everything is very quiet nice from the church area you can see the whole park and the mountains
Certainly nearby there is a place of thermal pools

Would I starve or have malnutrition if I went to these restaurants and would not budge away from being plant-based?
We will be good with pupusas you can add anything you want to them. Some of these towns now have vegan options you just have to tell them what you want.

1950 prices... 🤔 That 65¢ should have been a few cents. Yep that's the value the federal reserve bankers stole from us via inflation. $1 in 1950 would be like $12.37 today. Which also means $1 today equals 8¢ in 1950.
I guess I was very Gen Z with my comment haha. Back in my day you could still get a 1 cent candy at the store lol
@@FnAVanLife Exactly, that 1¢ was like you were paying 12.5¢ today for that candy.
Juayua say JUJUYUA 😂
