i'm having another issue -- everything you are doing makes total sense and i'm following along easy (thank you) BUT my CPT info doesn't pull in elementor. When i got to set up my single post I don't have an option to select it. It's not recognizing that i have set up other Custom Post types at all. I'm super stuck now.
That's an amazing video but what about a video to show how visitors can search for those properties based on certain criteria?

Hello, I can't see "select post type" option. I have single post, single page etc. It doesn't come with 2 options, (1) single, (2) post type

Thanks all lot for training but I had one problem with post type and post title because when I create new template for listings, in the field that showed the choose for post type there is just post title that’s why I got all time the name of page not the listing that I created

Hi! I have a problem, in 12:29 I can't select the custom post in the field "Select Post Type" because it is not appearing the name of my custom post, and I am trying to create by the "Theme Builder" option of Elementor.

Just create Single post, then go to hamburger menu on left top, click Theme Creator. Then choose Single post and down on the created template click Edit conditions. Then add Listings = All. Thats it

How can we add an ACF field on the post listing page? I need to show more information apart from Title. Right now the only way I can do with Elementor is using Excerpt which messes things up for me.

I think this does not work anymore with the current Elementor (3.1.1) I do not get the option to select SINGLE or POST TYPE, it is just SINGLE PAGE and SINGLE POST

Ok if you want to use Dynamic Tags, you should go elementor pro.. If you plan to stay in free version, this video may not help you..

How do you add a dynamic image gallery?
Yes this is useless information if you don't display your images which are kind of mandatory for a real estate site. Guess this is an old video but you can add a featured image, gallery or slideshow and load the images dynamically. I think you have to have the pro version of ACF to be able to create a gallery field of images.

Question: Will this method work across a multisite network? Let me explain: I already can export ACF fields through PHP and they will spread across my network, what I mean is, can I create a "single" page across all my sites or do I need to do in every single of them ?
on 22:49 you use the ccs-id to anchor the section.
I ever use the anchor text and i thought that was correct .
Why you use the css-id and what is the difference between this other action that you have applied ?

Mario Barretta I believe there is no difference between doing it with the ID or the widget. I come from a background of front end development, so I’m more accustomed doing it with the ID.

Great tutorial! I was wondering, is there any way to populate the custom post type fields automatically using an IDX service? Essentially, populate listing fields using data from the MLS sent by an IDX service. I know that probably seems like a lot due to the magnitude of info on the MLS.. Maybe there's some sort of variant of that idea that would be helpful for an agency website though.

For some reason I don't get Single in the Select the type of template you want to work on, and Listing in the select post type. I'm using the free version of Elementor so I'm not sure if that is the issue

Hey! I don't speak Hebrew but I've translated your comment and I'll answer it in English. Firstly, thanks a lot for the kind words :) To create the filtering based on custom fields for your custom post type you're going to need some external filter plugin, like "facetWP", "Search & Filter" or "Toolset" (Toolset also has the ability to create custom fields and custom post types). Hope that answers your question, and again, glad you enjoyed the video.

I need to make exactly this for a client. one thing I'm having trouble with, is it possible to add additional fields to the archive page? for example you have used the POSTS widget to list all the houses. But this only shows the image and title for the listing. how would I incorporate price as well? thanks!

Cool tutorial but, without a Custom Search option, this doesn't seem very useful. How can a visitor search through dozens of listings? Seems like an obvious necessity for this tutorial.

Great tutorial. I do have one suggestion...add a forward and backward arrow to the full page property display to cycle through the listings. Otherwise we need to go back to the set of listings to select the next property.

It would be nice if you could do one where you make a whole website with all the listings or other types of websites with those two tools. Thank you for all you do as your tutorial is the only one that goes in-depth with ACF and CPTUI.

Not possible at least for now, but you can use FacetWP for that.

This video is like 5 years old. So, I get stuck at time stamp 12:22, after Single, I don't get the second option to link to the new Post Type. I only get single post or single page option, and when I select either of those, the only thing dynamically linked, is the original Post (blogs) not the new post types that I've created.
Found a solution; once you go ahead and select single page, you can click on page settings at the top next to the recent pages toggle, then on the left select preview settings, and toggle the preview dynamic content as, you should be able to find your new post type(s) there! Also below that you may type a letter or two of the name of your "listing" apply & preview and you are able to keep doing what he shows in the video!

I have some problems with the template of single post creation. Dynamic content don’t call the right information. Exple : Post title.
Need more like this-integrating important Elementor features into a site rather than simply showing the feature itself.

Would it be possible to take this custom post type to the next level, and create a custom widget that could be used to add this same functionality that you built out in this website and make this available on another website with the same widget from the example site? Am I thinking this thru correctly? I am basically wondering if all of the customizations you put into the property page can be exported as a widget or a plugin of some type using ACF and existing features of Elementor Pro without the need to create a custom coded plugin. I am very interested, it seems to me that you could add one more step to make this a reality... am I right? Is there another tutorial that the general idea might could be applied to explain how this could be possible?

If anyone is having trouble with the post type selection in 2020 it's because Elementor has added something called "conditions", just generate your template following the tutorial and then simply apply the condition from Theme Builder to only include posts included in the Listings category
