*My neice took your advice and had a Car Vertical report done on what was to be her first car, a 2021 Audi. It came back with all green ticks so she handed over payment. 2 days later it transpired that the car was bought from a salvage yard by the previous owner and was actually 'stolen and recovered'. My niece contacted Car Vertical who couldn't have been less interested and eventually just said that they 'don't always find out everything'! Surely finding out if a car has been stolen is about as basic as it gets? They also said there was nothing they could do, so she's now left with a car that's worth a lot less and has a salvage title! Great work Car Vertical. What a waste of money!*
Isn’t it funny how we all came over with Alex from carthrottle and now I’m just as excited to see Taylor hosting as I am Alex. It must be odd for Taylor to just meet Alex one day then suddenly being a host (a good one too) on one of the most popular car shows on the internet! Keep it coming lads.

Tom seems so happy to share his passion for Jaaaags with everyone he meets. A true true car enthousiast and a nerd worthy of having such car. This Jag's flashy, fast, loud and I bet Tom never ever considered buying it to show off. Same goes for Taylor and whole community around Autoalex. Just pure love for cars. There's one reason why it didn't sell and that's because it was a £150k Jaguar saloon car. LHD only probably didn't help much either, it is a pain being on the wrong side of the car.
LHD is not "a pain" if you're driving a Wagwahr to go skiing in Austria (which I've done several times - euuww, get me 😂😂😂); 4WD would have been useful on those trips too, tbh, esp going over the Fern Pass on the drop into Innsbrück.
And ( unpopular opnion but the numbers speak for themselves) its a bit boring for £150k. Sorry, love a Jag but it doesn't really stand out that much from the crowd tbh. Always great though when someone finds their dream car so good for Tom :)

@@midlifecarsis6420 Yep, the KFC in Kettering is a challenge no man should ever have to endure, esp in a £150k LHD vehicle. yes, friend of mine nearly bought one in the UK, but in the coupe format (2005 reg, red, NA engine). They were our dream cars in 2014-2018 era. One of few good V8's , RWD , manual combos available in UK market. Still see them from time to time, but very rare due to age. Eco propaganda killed that market by introducing CO2 taxes even on older cars. Monaro will cost its owner 1,400 AUD a year in CO2 tax. Few can justify that....
Taylor getting into the drivers seat showed exactly the same emotions as I had driving my friends M6, he’s a fantastic host to communicate that feeling across a screen!
Tom is the type of person who SHOULD own cars like this; someone who wants to use it and enjoy it, not just hide it away to see if it gains value. When Tom said "Driving cars SHOULD be an experience", all I could think was 'that is what it means to be a Petrol Head'. Also, I know every single one of these is special but having the "1 of 300" plaque is even more special. Shows how genuine the friendship is between Tom and the AutoAlex guys; the "Give it a little bit of spice, come one." comment is not really something you can fake.
