    On this video, I do a Grab Bar Installation, on my Gheenoe. I end up buying a golf cart grab bar off of Amazon and install it on my 15'4" Gheenoe. Follow my videos for more Gheenoe modifications and installation videos.
    My name is Tony Clark and I am the Gheenoe Guy. My story as the Gheenoe Guy began the beginning of 2020 when I bought a used Gheenoe off of craiglist. If you don’t know what a Gheenoe is the think of a Canoe shaped boat able to get shallow but still has stability. The Gheenoe has allowed me to get shallow in the creeks and catch all kinds of fish. My videos cover all kinds of fishing, hunting, Gheenoe modifications, and even some catch and cook. Remember I’m not a professional heck I’m not even that good maybe sometimes I just get lucky follow me on my adventures and you decide.

      @@johnbiden5987 it works great I put wood on the inside of dry box for stronger support. It’s about a Half inch maybe an inch from the bottom of the Gheenoe didn’t want it to rub

    Is there a video where you show the actual grab bar? Not sure what was being displayed in most of this content. Thanks.

    Dang I spent 200 bucks on my grab bar and trolling motor mount. Wish I saw this post earlier. Nice set up. Connecting a bilge pump on my Highsider this weekend.

    I’d probably put a piece of wood on inside of box to sandwich the stress alittle better. Last thing you want is to crack the fiberglass. My opinion

    Good idea.
    I'm a little concerned about saltwater and corrosion, but Im going to go for it. Although, for 35 bux, I can change it out every 2-3 years. I'll probably mount mine offset to the left side, so i can get up front easier.

    Do you still have your grab bar? Is it still working out good. Thinking of doing the same

      I replaced it with an Aluminum it eventually rusted with all the salt water

    What do you think about the height of the grab bar ?? Is 30” a little short or no ?? And have you stubbed your toe yet on the angled bottom?? Thinking about ordering this for my 13 foot gheenoe

    • @gheenoeguy1510
      @gheenoeguy1510  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am 6’2” and I think the height is fine. I haven’t stubbed my toe either. The only thing is I would add some bedliner or rubberized paint for extra protection against salt water

    Has it given you any trouble when you open and close the livewell lid?

    • @gheenoeguy1510
      @gheenoeguy1510  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can still open it. It’s a little hard to open but I use mine for dry storage a small battery and safety gear so I don’t open it a lot.

    Do you think a backing plate is needed??

    • @gheenoeguy1510
