These Pitch N Putt courses sound like a great time, perfect to bring a sunday bag or just carry a wedge and putter around with you! Never had one near enough to me to take advantage. Love the content, let's see you go low with the wedge shots!
Pitch n’ Putt courses are awesome! It’s a great place to take a young golfer just learning the game, and allows them to play golf at a good distance. I’m amazed at how whenever I go to a Pitch n’ Putt at how many people bring their entire bag. I just carry 2 wedges and my putter.
Love this video! I grew up in Seattle , WA and always enjoyed visiting Vancouver and Stanley Park! Never knew there was a pitch and putt , once border restrictions are lifted I will definitely give it a try!
So great to see awesome vids out of Vancity. Central Park PnP is where I cut my teeth! It's beautiful, the greens aren't easy, and the 7th is 125 yds. I go there with 47, 52, and 56. Would love to see a vid!
Great video Adam! Saw you at McCleary yesterday. Will be watching for that one 👀. You should try the par 3 course in Mission. One of the nicest par 3s in the lower mainland.
And to think there’s guys who have that same score in a tournament on the pga tour for a full 7,000 yd regulation course. Shows how impossibly good they are! Keep up the great vids
@@NotAScratchGolfer Absolutely. Was taking the weekend off the course to give the back a rest but think I'll hit up Central Park Pitch and Putt in Burnaby for a little fun
In the rare case it doesn't snow for a decent period of time in Vancouver in the winter, do courses open for a few days? Or is it mostly indoor golf for the winter?
Thanks! Go to is a 54° - probably used for 4 out of every 5 shots in this round. I pull out the PW on the 95-110 holes. I chip with that club in some situations, too.
Executive courses should be way more common. I'm lucky enough to live close to a nine-hole par 27 and a six-hole par 20 that has a couple par fours. We also used to have a nine-hole par 31 course but it would get flooded often and in 2008 the flooding was so bad it destroyed the clubhouse so the city closed the course. Executive courses are more beginner and casual golfer friendly. Also has the great effect of making play on nearby 18-hole public courses a lot better with pace of play and overall course conditions. Kids, new, and casual golfers will tend to prefer playing executive courses.
They've filmed a ton of movies in this park, including golf movies! The establishing shots of the Tour Championship in Happy Gilmore were filmed in Stanley Park!
Hold up Adam! You need to review that last putt cuz those blockers inside the hole come up pretty high you may have bounced off of it and technically made the 2
Awesome content. So good there is more guys like me out there 😂 We have a similar course with 2 par 4’s though. It’s fun to play these courses to hone the short game.
I've played so much P&P that I feel like I don't have too much going through my brain out there. I recorded a conversation discussing swing thoughts that I'll release soon :)
My home course has a pitch and putt I play it more than the regular course. The regular course is for taking wagers off the people who don't play pitch and putt.
Fair. As a kid I played a lot of P&P with only a PW, so I'm used to playing those distances as pitch shots. I could try using the 60 more, but I don't think I'd hit it much farther than ~60-70.
@@NotAScratchGolfer you’re a dope putter though. Definitely helps your score when you can somewhat consistently drain from 10 feet. I’d take that over 280 off the tee lol

Thanks, Joshua! I'm sure if I put in some hours I'll go low there soon ;)

Good old Stanley Park. Home to the final match between Happy Gilmore and Shooter McGavin
I had to hit the ball of of Frankenstein's fat foot, remember?
I love to play PAR 3 courses, they are the best practice for approach and short game! Great video 👍🏻
Thanks!!
Love this video! I grew up in Seattle , WA and always enjoyed visiting Vancouver and Stanley Park! Never knew there was a pitch and putt , once border restrictions are lifted I will definitely give it a try!
Hey, neighbor! It's a great track and definitely worth playing. The only P&P I've played in Seattle is Green Lake. Are there others worth hitting up?
Don’t know if you have already been , but the Interbay Par 3 is another great short course in town , some nice views
I've played this course many times, when I go down to Vancouver to visit my grandparents, such a good time!
Awesome :)
What a beautiful course. Thanks for sharing.
Another great video, Adam! Thanks for uploading
Thanks as always, Kim!
The city needs more pitch n putt courses they are popular and busy. I love Stanley park, shot a +3 57 for my all time best there.

Yeah I love that place. When I think about it, all of the P&Ps in the lower mainland have something to offer!
I played here this summer! Very pretty course, greens actually look better than I remember in this video. Love these vids in Ontario!
Awesome, glad you're enjoying! Hope golf re-opens for you in ON soon!
That looks like a lot of fun! I need to find a par three Course soon to get some practice in! 🤙🏾😎
Highly recommend it!
Awesome video Adam, I wish i had a course layout like this one near me unfortunately I don't. Keep up the videos I enjoy them every week.
Thanks as always!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!. How’d you manage the traffic? Seems every time I tee off in a P&P, I’m stuck between holes awhile.
We had a *very* lucky day and didn't wait at all! Played Ambleside immediately afterwards and waited and waited and waited.
Awesome video! I love pitch and putt. Great for short game
For sure!
Great video Adam! Saw you at McCleary yesterday. Will be watching for that one 👀. You should try the par 3 course in Mission. One of the nicest par 3s in the lower mainland.
Haha cool - watch out for that vid to drop next week! I've never played the Par 3 in Mission - I will definitely get there this Summer!!!
It's good practice to play those shorter setups sometimes. It's good fun ⛳🤙
For sure!
This is awsome this was one of my favorite videos yet!!
Thanks! I plan to film more throughout the Summer!

Ye indeed. 59 is the lowest score ever on the PGA tour though
@@af5235 oh ye you're right. Damn that's impressive
They're aliens.
Great video. Loving the Vancouver and greater Vancouver content
Thanks, Alex! Gotta take advantage of the season while it lasts!
@@NotAScratchGolfer Absolutely. Was taking the weekend off the course to give the back a rest but think I'll hit up Central Park Pitch and Putt in Burnaby for a little fun
I play a pitch and putt quite often!! It is fun but I really like to hit the longer shots as well!! Nice video!!👍😀🏌️♂️
Agreed!
Love these videos! You should come play a few rounds on Vancouver island just a short ferry ride away and there’s some amazing courses here !
I've only played on the island once! Which courses do you recommend?

Love the pitch and putt. What is your go to wedge for Stanley Park?

Great video mate, makes me wanna play and putt!
I wish they had that here in New Orleans, it would really help my short game. Plus I probably would rather play this instead of a full course.
What do you use for a shot tracer? Loving the videos!
Another great video, love what you do.
Amazing content! Well done, buddy. Hope your channel gets the subscribers you deserve.
Hey nice channel.
Keep posting, this will turn into something big over time.
Thanks so much :)
Those greens are brutal 😂 a 2 putt inside 15ft seems very good.
Yeah it's a bit like Plinko!
Those white tree trunks are beautiful. They could be out of a movie set.
They've filmed a ton of movies in this park, including golf movies! The establishing shots of the Tour Championship in Happy Gilmore were filmed in Stanley Park!
Ha ha, I'd love to play that course like this. Great vid and keep up!
Thanks!!
Have you played Rupert's pitch n putt? It's a tricky little course. Really need to hit greens or you're pooched
Yes, love Rupert!
Hold up Adam! You need to review that last putt cuz those blockers inside the hole come up pretty high you may have bounced off of it and technically made the 2
Haha I may have been Covid cupped :p
You should come to cedar ridge course it’s slightly bigger than this course but has more sand and water features
Wow, thanks for this! I'd never heard of Cedar Ridge. Will definitely check it out the next time I'm out that way!
Awesome content. So good there is more guys like me out there 😂 We have a similar course with 2 par 4’s though. It’s fun to play these courses to hone the short game.
Cool, whereabouts is that?
What clubs are you using?
Do Burnaby Central Park P&P next?
Love that course. I'll try to get out there again soon!
What do you use to trace your shots?
Get yourself to Ireland! The home of pitch & putt
I was gonna say I recognize that course anywhere!
Adam what are your swing thoughts?
I've played so much P&P that I feel like I don't have too much going through my brain out there. I recorded a conversation discussing swing thoughts that I'll release soon :)
I meant a regular golf course what your pre swing thoughts are.
What equipment do you use to film and edit?
I film on my phone (Google pixel 5) mounted to a tripod. I edit in iMovie.
Those are big greens. The ones at my club are postage stamp size
Our local par 3 course is about 110yd-210yd and I’d be happy with +5 lol
Yeah 200+ yard par 3s are tough!!
My home course has a pitch and putt I play it more than the regular course. The regular course is for taking wagers off the people who don't play pitch and putt.
This guy gets it.
I wish we had these in the UK
Are these not common there? I assumed they would be!
@@NotAScratchGolfer there is only a handful around the country! Unfortunately none are local to me.
Cool course. I wouldn’t call 80 yards a pitch shot. Better to take a 58 or 60 and full swing. Get the ball up and actually keep it on the greens.
Fair. As a kid I played a lot of P&P with only a PW, so I'm used to playing those distances as pitch shots. I could try using the 60 more, but I don't think I'd hit it much farther than ~60-70.

We don't start serving until 5 :p
Jesus what is that swing 2:37
Oh fuck yeah
;)
Par 3 course rather than pitch and putt. Greens are far too large.
Poor greens
Wtf was that hop at 1:50
Let's just say that the greens weren't exactly rolling true!
All your swings are half swings lol
Those greens are horrible. come to ireland and you will get a proper pitch and putt experience
