Nice video! Do I need a super high GPA and LSAT for Osgoode? My gpa is a bit weak.
Thank you for the kind encouragement! You don't necessarily need an extremely high GPA and LSAT for Osgoode. Osgoode tends to evaluate your application on a more holistic basis. They will give a lot of weight to your personal statement, personal circumstances, and also your extracurriculars. However, a high GPA and LSAT will definitely help secure your admission. May I ask what your GPA is?
@@MalDanthana Ofc. My situation is a bit complex because I spent a semester at a university for one semester and did pretty terribly (only got 4 classes). Then I worked for a year in tech startups and some other tech related firms before starting at my current university where I have around a 3.3 right now, I think I can get it to 3.5 by graduation.
@@ricenoodlewarrior Okay, thank you for enlightening me about your circumstances. Personally, I think you have an excellent shot at Osgoode. You have a lot of solid experiences and you will need to bring that to light in your personal statement and your diversity statement. Don't let your GPA sway your confidence. If it's any help, I would be happy to read over your statements too if that would be helpful for you.
