I just got pulled back into Battletech. Who knew the miniatures were dramatically cooler looking than I reminder them in the 90s. But these mech suits also look totally radical. I do want to paint one of my mechs like the Sergeant's color scheme.
Mecha frames were popularised by Japanese Lego fans in the early 2000s and the concept of one central core that can be customised has stuck around ever since. Strange to see them in a commercial product. I hope these are unique designs that weren't stolen from the community.
Just letting you know I finished my custom animated triple changing marauder Megatron, since you wanted me to tell you. He is soooo badass looking Great video as always too!
Those are really impressive. The colors and designs are near perfect. At one time, I seriously thought about collecting Lego and similar building toys. But I decided to build my toys out of cardboard! It was (how can I say it?) an economic choice.

Oh man, these look really cool. I've just got back into Lego and have been tempted by some of the cool bootlego options and these are definitely speaking to me. I remember seeing a few years back that someone had created a mech-based tabletop game where you design and build all your mechs out of Lego, so presumably these would be good for that.
Wait a second, that piece in the middle of the axe handle is a Kre-O piece. Not only did they bootleg LEGO pieces, but they’ve bootlegged Kre-O pieces and mixed them into the assortment, fascinating.
2:25 This reminds me more of ES Twitch than anything. These mechs look pretty nice, which makes me sad the official mechs (or at least the superhero/Star Wars ones) seem to have deliberately phased out knees and elbows. I wonder if there will ever be any third party options that tackle 2000s Exo-Force nostalgia.
I was just about to come here and say that Sergeant is seriously knocking me over the head and stealing my wallet with the 'LEGO Roadbuster' vibes. He didn't have to steal my wallet too, but that's just him going the extra mile.

Kind of tempted to get the pair of these to build together with him, can toy robots bring me and my step-dad, who is a wank, closer together? Probably not but might worth a try.
Building frames and then decorating them is definitely something Lego tried one day. But no where near as interesting as this. no one has the balls to sell a brick built rotary grenade launcher like knock offs do, ive got to commend them.
What ever you do don't look for Mega Bloks Halo exosuits. they are not really cool at all. and don't even think about the Halo Meridian defense cyclops, just uncool.

You can buy the mech skeleton by itself. I would like to see someone using the mech skeleton to make a transformer around it.
