Im very sorry about Diegos death. I think he was a very talented man and a good person (most of the time) but i also believe all this public demontrations of sadness are way too much drama. I dont think thise tears are made of passion but confusion only.

Mate, i spend pretty much 4 days straight watching C5N on youtube and Diego youtube clips. I watch pretty much the whole period of his live viewing in the Casa Rosada. I'm in Australia, but it honestly felt like i was going through a mourning process. Being from an Argentine background it felt and meant like more. He was the embodiment of Argentine struggle, success, charisma, heartache and survival. R.I.P DIEGO!!

Maradona was exceptional for Argentina in 86 and in domestic football whilst playing for Napoli especially. He was a great who may have been better if he hadn't succumbed to drugs and the legality of reckless challenges in his day. Having said this, you'd be a fool to say that he was better than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Maradona was the first football star I was able to see play. I remember watching PBS on a little 13" black and white RCA TV and seeing him playing in the World Cup. Truly one of the greats.
That's the same feeling we all brasilians had when Senna Died, the whole country felt like we lost someone from our family. Losing the most inportant idol isn't easy. Stay strong Argentina!
