Thanks Mr.Johnson for the good video on the Palmetto state!. South Carolina is a state that I’ve always thought was somewhat underrated in certain aspects. I live in south Florida at the moment but I wouldn’t mind South Carolina.

OMG, I can’t believe you mentioned Bennettsville, SC! That is where I was born and where my family lived forever. My grandparents, father and stepmother are buried there. I still go back for visits with family and friends, even though I have lived in San Diego, CA for over 30 years. You can definitely get deals on houses there, although a good job and education may be a challenge. I still have a lot of love for the area though. This is a great video!

Well, Nick, you convinced us. First with the video on Greenville. We checked out Upstate South Carolina and our offer on a house was accepted for a home in Greer, near Greenville and Spartanburg. It's funny how making the decision on a place for retirement was the hardest one of all. It came down to Tennessee or SC. We had specific requirements as I am also a pilot with a small plane and we want to keep flying for as long as I am able to. Airpark homes are more difficult to find and more expensive. We have previously rented a hangar but in the current market none are available and probably won't be for years. Tennessee is definitely more tax friendly, with no income tax, and no tax on retirement income. I will pay more tax in SC while I continue to work part time, but very minimal tax in full retirement. Property taxes are low in both states. There seems to be much more sound fiscal policy with excellent public-private collaboration on issues such as homelessness as well. I'm a Northerner, and my primary worry is cockroaches! Here's hoping upstate is better than the lowlands in that regard. Additionally, we found out that there are opportunities there to help with real solutions for homelessness (for those who want to change their lives), which my wife and I want to be involved in. Also, we work in medical missions in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, and we will be closer for our flights there. Overall, a win-win. You have amazing content and we will keep watching your channel. We have also joined your Patreon. Keep up the good work.

Wow 😯 you can buy a massive house for not much money. In the U.K. houses are so expensive where I live. You’re looking at a four bedroom home with double garage, and a small garden for at least £650,000. Those homes are mansions, I suppose they can afford a cleaner and a gardener. James Island looks gorgeous. Thank you I learn so much and see the real US which is what I want to see.

With all the beaches and golf courses in Hilton Head, does that mean they have the residents with the least Vitamin D deficiencies in the state? That would be a somewhat strange statistic...well, for the real estate industry but not the medical industry. Okay, maybe I should stop trying to comment on every single video. lol.

Tega Cay only have one Elementary school and don't have no high school or middle school. If they go to middle school or high school they go to the Fort Mill School District
