The stormtrooper army invasion of Earth has failed, now they take up defensive positions in New York City as the US Army counter attacks in a siege battle against the Imperial Army. However, the Rebel Army has also landed an invasion force on Earth and joins the fray! This Star Wars Invasion of Earth battle was made using the Call to Arms Gates of Hell Star Wars Galaxy at War mod battle simulator. #starwars

I think it would’ve made sense if the rebels were helping Earth fight the empire. They’ve never been one to want to conquer for the sake of it.
I think the head canon (and this is just my interpretation of Daley's design) is that the rebels were just trying to help the empire fall, but the humans assumed they were invaders too, so fired upon them. but I dunno, it doesn't make sense to me either, and this is just the answer I've come up with

It would be great to see a mixed forces in one of these. Rebels helping US and/or Soviet troops against the Imperial forces. I also think the Imperial commanders could "pull rank" on the Republic clones and force them to help invade.
The most realistic portrayal imo would be rebels/separatists siding with earth while the republic/ empire try to evade

I think if you had a battle taking place inside a star wars-style interior, like a starship boarding action or something, the battle would be much more balanced because the Earth soldier's main advantage is their much longer range on their weapons
I think we should continue this series with Earth, the Rebels, and the Republic join forces and have the CIS and the Empire join forces and try to conquer earth

I would love seeing a Nato-Republic Alliance and a Russo-CIS alliance. Russian Tanks and CIS Droids aided by HMP droid gunships from the air and US-Marines landing in LAAT/i's would be so epic. Already said this on another vid but this would be awesome! Or US-Republic Alliance first fights the Imperial incursion!

You know looking at these when you have a defense situation you should also have some units set for free movements in these so you also have units that will respond to the enemy an move to cover as well.
How the Republic troopers (with an ATTE in the middle) go on a forest patrol only to be ambushed by a Russian armour column on the left and right of them along with a mixture of regular and spetnaz units in the infantry
You should have the empire join the US as I'm fairly certain the original trilogy was supposed to be an allegory for the Vietnam war with the rebels representing the Vietnamese.

Since the seppies are in what seems like Siberia and they're not having a good time attacking the Russians, maybe you could have them try a different area and have them attack the West Coast? It would make sense geographically. They could team up with the Russians and attack Alaska or California, or even Hawaii.

If they ever add a sort of terrorist faction, you could do a battle where a star wars faction and the US are fighting in the desert but then they get ambushed and it becomes like a battle royale kind of like this video.

if you're going to have an Earth faction team with the Star Wars factions the alliances I would make would be the US, the Rebels, and the Clone Army vs. the CIS, Empire, and Russia. Mainly due to the similar ideology of the groups

You could have the Empire start a Civil War in either Russia or the US
Clones, rebel, us defense at DC and attack by droids, strong troopers, Russian. All fractions joined each other more mutual benefits. Dead befeat enemy and alliances.

SW armies will probably struggle to combat the US army on Earth thanks to the tech gap between the US and them. The Rebels aren't even worth considering and the Republic is complete crap and would probably just Base Delta Zero Earth after losing a couple thousand men; they don't have good enough men or equipment to seriously fight, especially since Jedi would be useless against bullets. That leaves the Empire and CIS, of which only the CIS could win given the fact that the Gates of Hell GAW mod is still pretty young and I am willing to bet the faction rosters haven't been completed yet. The CIS would win through numbers naturally, but that isn't to say they aren't brilliant, it is weird that any SW army would be able to beat the US army on fair-ish terms (i.e. no starships, no ridiculous numbers).
Jedi wouldn't be useless against bullets, you just need to be faster than the guy using the bullet, something very simple considering that blocking a blaster bolt from 10 feet away requires reaction times of up .05 seconds, twice as fast as an EYEBLINK
They wouldn't function as front line troops anymore, but having a Jedi ambush a squad of US Marines in a trench while using a lightsaber, well those Marines are toast
@phil3751 Yes, but how would the Jedi get close enough to reach said marines. You are viewing this through through the lense of the Jedi already having an advantage and this not being a pitched battle. Standard Jedi strategy in a pitched battle dictates a made charge of forces backed up by heavily armed forces. Imperium tactics generally involve heavy artillery and heavy firepower and numbers. The battle droids in the clone wars were given poor strategies by the sith to limit how much damage they could cause the Republic, whereas the Imperium troops could adapt to the Republic attack. Clearly lasguns have a very high fire rate, and if Imperial Guardsmen were to focus their fire on jedi they would easily take them out, especially from entrenched positions because the Jedi and clones would find it harder to attack them.

And it would be fairly easy for the Jedi to adapt to the Imperium's method of warfare, in a way that allows for their Jedi to get close. It works both ways ya know
Mobile Sheild generators, which were used by the separatists in the battle of christophasis to advance the droid army. Practically impervious to artillery fire. I have no idea how costly they are but shield generators are practically everywhere in star wars. The clone army could easily advance to the trench line and with Jedi make the ensuing melee a bloodbath. Especially if the clones bring flamethrowers

@phil3751 Don't the Imperium use physical projectiles for their artillery? Also, shields like that are a Separatist tactic, not a Republic one.
