Americans Try Crispy Pata For The First Time in the Philippines! 🇵🇭

- Today is one of the last vlogs we will be making in the Philippines in the near future... so we thought we might as well try a food we haven't tried before. We headed over to the restaurant Mesa and we tried Cripsy Pata for the first time in the Philippines!
After trying Crispy pata we also briefly go over some of our future plans in the coming months. We then ordered some special drink from a place called Max Mango and we were sent some ube leche flan to try as well! Thank you all for watching! We have one more quick vlog coming soon!

I forgot to mention you guys as one of the most genuine vloggers that stayed in the country and be raw and realistic in your observations about your daily experiences in your 7 months grind, Mergim the Brit vlogger mentioned about some vloggers being pretentious as if faking their vlog the whole time, you guys can be wacky but you can be serious as well and that clicked to us Pinoys as we are like you, with or without problems, disasters or calamities, we go on and mind you, your taste buds will surely crave for Filipino food wherever you may be in the future for sure, OFW's like us understand that, we still salivate foods from countries we had worked or visited, don't hesitate to come back bicuit boyz, maybe this land will be your future home...

crispy pata is pork hock that's boiled in waterwith spices and then left to dry before deep frying, usually twice to assure crispiness since that's thr signature of crispy pata
That ube leche flan and ube ice cream, i wanna try it too! It seems really good. Coz if the taste is just so so it shows in your face or you tell it honestly.

I've been in mesa last week. The food is really good. They have tinola inside a whole coconut and it taste good. I also love their pork binagoongan.

After a quite long stay in the Philippines I'm amazed how you both adopt how we Filipinos use spoon candidly. I’m so confused…I wonder if they’re done with their epic final Philippines trip or if they’re coming back for that. All I know is that they went to South Korea and then came back to the Philippines only to leave again for Dubai. I guess it’s possible that they had that final trip before they left for Dubai. Ube is indeed a root.. That's a root that you can eat.. It's like a veggie.. My grandma use to plant ube in her when she was still alive.. She cook it too with veggies..Miss my grandma..

We usually eat crispy PATA w/out rice! To be able to savor it well w/ the sauce! Try "brazo d' Mercedes" the famous Pinoy dessert too!

I often go to Mesa, it's a walk away from my home like 10 min. I love Tomas Morato area, everything is a walk away. Will be there January.

I’m a filipino and I would say I’ve probably eaten different types of lechon that is being hyped here in the Philippines and lemme tell you my guy
Nothings beats crispy pata even if it is just a streetfood pata.
The home or place of Lechon here in Metro Manila is located in LA LOMA Quezon City... You'll see a lot of lechon display outside there restaurant. FYI

vinegar is good to lower the bad cholesterol you eat on meat thats why most of filipinos eat pork with vinegar and other oily fatty foods.
