You guys were so unlucky with the cable car because on a clear day without clouds/rain, you can see the entire Kathmandu valley and the Himalaya mountain range in the distance. The views are absolutely breathtaking. This is the monsoon season so it will rain most of the time. Spring or Winter is the best time to visit Nepal.
Are you guys planning to go trekking to snowy mountain 🏔️ side ? I think you should visit one of the base camp...( Easy one and closer one to Kathmandu at first)

There are tons of people who are desperate to get hold of tourists like you, just ignore them and walk away if they come touting ! Don't need to be too polite with them, start saying "sorry, not interested!" Anyway have fun boys!!
