Thanks for this video - others are good but this one is the easiest, most efficient method of replacing the oil. Thank you! FYI - I swapped the oil on my 2023SAR with stock tires, still new bike (1.5k miles). I can feel the improvement at low & moderate speeds, but under hard acceleration over 100mph the shake comes back. New tires would probably solve it, so would more viscous oil. For what I need though, this is perfect so thank you Czerp for the great tutorial.
I´m just following this steps. Thank you! The only doubt I have... is if the seal is compromised after hammering for expelling the unlocked seal... because the "head" is entering in that seal... this is not going to cause a leak later? By the way, are you happy with 15W or do you feel like it will be better to put 20W? Thanks!
In my opinion it shouldn't damage the seal I have also checked it, if I will see any leaks - I will find new seal and replace it. I have used 15W because I want to have easy "work" at terrain, also I equipped additional scott steering damper
@@czerpzzycia539 I did the mod that same day. No problem with seals leaking and the steering improved the feeling! I think maybe a 20W will be even better. But of course an adjustable one is the way to go. Thank you so much!!
I did this with 20w and it helped the decel high speed tank slapper wobble quite a bit but not completely, that said its the actual design of the connector that is the problem, the center piston has a single ring type fastener and it flexes up and down a bit which seems to me to be the actual problem (I'm only knowledgeable on the 2016-7 GT)

Thanks for this. I followed your instructions and replaced mine with 10W oil in about 30 minutes. This video really helped!
Wielkie dzięki za nagranie pomocnego materiału. Wlałem olej do amorów 15W a jak nie ustanie shimmy to wleję hipol 80w90
