I did everything correct but couldn't get a sound to my av receiver. I accidentally came across a setting for enabling fixed PCM in my av receiver and got everything working. Sharing it here in case someone else doesn't get the sound because of this reason.
Until now, I didn't know what ARC meant on HDMI. I'll have to keep that in mind in case I need to output via HDMI for whatever reason (like external monitors). Thanks.
using the easiest most simple method along with roku streaming, the pa speakers that the mixer is outputting to sound very muffled. is this the roku settings or could it be the method of use? will a optical cable or hdmi arc fix this ? when inputting sound through something thats not my tv
Great to see you giving some love for the FX6v3+. I checked your channel a few days ago, hoping you had an in-depth video on it but couldn't see one. I bought it anyway and I'm waiting for it to arrive but it's reassuring that you mentioned you like it. My girlfriend and family really like karaoke but their little Bluetooth kit sounds terrible and has some lag. I decided to upgrade the setup and this little mixer seemed perfect! Hope you can do a full video on it.
This is the video i been searching for i have a profx16v2 and i want to do the same thing and karaoke off my tv. This helped alot thanks!
Im going to do step 2 and go with the optical to rca connector..

Thanks for the tip!

I have a proper ProFX6v3+ video coming out in a couple hours.
Thanks for the help, Jordan.
Is a soundbar consider as an active speaker? I have a Sony Android TV and a Sony soundbar, can I use this method to connect them?
So on option 3, can you use an XLR cable from your controller (balanced) to an RCA input on your mixer as well ?
I have been looking for exactly this video for connecting my Apple TV
Can u suggest any video on how to use the notch filter and cancel out the exact feedback frequency using parametric Eq
Thank you so much Jordan for your assistance. You’re so awesome!!!
Great video so helpful
Thanks a bunch
Right on time ,thank you very much!!
You didn’t show how to connect the speaker to the mixer?????
I have other videos on how to do that!
How much distance the optical support
I’ve never run one more than 10ft, but with a good cable you can go up to 50ft
How to identify the frequency causing feedback in a small room
The easiest way is to notch out the EQ until the feedback stops. But you can also stop feedback with good speaker/microphone placement.
@@kettnercreative does Eqing cause loss of audio quality
What is that blend Knob in the mixer
The blend knob is for recording. You can blend what you’re hearing from the computer with what you’re doing on the mixer.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
