What is Ankle fracture?
An ankle fracture is another name for a #broken_ankle. This indicates that one or more of the ankle joint's bones are fractured. The ankle joint is made up of three bones:
• The Tibia, or shinbone
• The smaller lower leg bone is called a Fibula.
• The Talus is a tiny bone that lies between the tibia and fibula and the heel bone.
Ankle fractures are categorized by the area of the fractured bone by doctors. For instance,
• Medial malleolus fracture
• Distal end of Fibula fracture (lateral malleolus fracture)
• Posterior malleolus fracture
• Combination of Medial or lateral malleolus fracture
• Tri-malleolar Fracture
Causes of Ankle fracture?
• While running or walking, twisting, turning, or rolling your ankle
• Falling from a height, such as off a ladder
• Vehicular accident
Diagnosis?
• Clinical assessment
• X-Ray
Treatment?
The type and intensity of the injury determine the treatment procedure for ankle fractures.
Non-Surgical Therapy
Leg cast can be used to treat a nondisplaced fracture. For a few weeks, your doctor might advise not putting any weight on your ankle for 6 weeks.
Surgical Therapy
Displaced fracture can be surgically fixed with one or two screws. Anti-glide plates and Tension band wiring may be necessary if the fracture is severe and extends into the ankle joint.

Sir, mera isolated posterior malleolus fracture huya hain tibia ka. But displacement huya nehi. Chota hissa fracture hua hain.. abhi 5 din hua.. only plaster kiya.. recovery hoga kya aur kitna din somoy lagega?

नमस्कार डॉक्टर साहब मेरे भी दोनो पैरो की एड़ियों में ऊंचाई से गिर जाने के कारण फ्रैक्चर हो गया था और ऑपरेशन नहीं की इतना फ्रैक्चर नही है हुआ है और प्लास्टर किया 20 दिन के लिए और प्लास्टर खोलने के बाद 15 दिन तक पैरो की एक्सरसाइज करने को बताया और फिर वॉकर की सहायता से चलने को बोला लेकिन अब तक 3 महीने हो गए में पैरो पर पूरा वजन देकर नहीं चल पा रहा हु ।
क्या कुछ कमी रह गई इलाज में बताए प्लीज मेरे पास एक्सरे भी है सर

सर मेरा एंकल फैकचर था. प्लास्टर हटाने के बाद डा़ साहब ने पंजे की अप-डाऊन एक्सरसाइज करने के लिए कहा.3 दिन अप-डाऊन एक्सरसाइज की. चोथे दिन पंजे की मासपेशियों में जकडन हो गई. पैर अप-डाऊन नहीं हो रहा और बहुत तेज़ दर्द हो रहा है. पैर को जमीन पर रखता हूँ तो सिर्फ पंजा ही टिकता है एड़ी जमीन पर नहीं टिक रही. कोई समाधान बताये प्लीज बहुत परेशान हूँ
