Is there no better camera angle for Virtua Striker 2? You can have the most fun gameplay but if you’ve got a useless camera like that, it makes the game unplayable. Never understood why so many football games zoomed right in on the players. The wider camera is clearly the right way to make a football game.
they are the best out of Dreamcast, but none of these are actually any good in comparison by the terms of a legit football game. Winning Eleven / ISS / PES games from PS1 era or early PS2 era are much better to play than those
yep, these games are indeed not good by the standards of fun football games and are worth playing like PES and FIFA, but maybe you can try them if you want to feel the gameplay of a different football game

I was looking for maybe there is an alternative to PES and FIFA, a hidden gem i could not find yet. but talking of Dreamcast, i could not find any worthy one, and removed all of these except one, only kept Virtua Striker, as it seemed the best out of all available
Yep, Virtua Striker is indeed interesting to me, only the camera layout and also the AI CPU are not smart enough, making it incomparable to PES or the FIFA Series :(
Virtua Striker 2 is a great arcade game I always play it with the arcade stick, there even secret Sonic characters, I’m glad they continued the series with Virtua Striker 3 & 4

I don't like the wider camera , zoomed right on the players as you said is close to what you see on TV
Virtua Strike has insane graphics for the time, the zoomed-one and only camera helps to avoid performance issues.
Conclusion : Dreamcast was a great console machine with no football game

Virtua Striker 2 was unplayable, nothing more than a nice graphical tech demo. Love the Dreamcast but look elsewhere for classic football/soccer games
