@@pturk3823 he plays osu consistently tougher than ANYONE...scUM has gotten lucky against OSU last couple of years but OSU usually beats them pretty badly

I'm happy to hear about WR consistency. Last year there was zero mention of consistency in the WR room. However, I'm not too sure about how I feel that Liam is WR2 with respect to the talent of the other wideouts. It certainly sounds like strides have been made.

I think Liam is unfairly and possibly unconsciously being considered "just Sean's brother" and people forget he was a 4* by 247 and a recruit we very well may have taken without Sean being our QB. By all accounts out of camp he's not just our number 2, they're actually saying he looks good. Very good. So I say let's give him the benefit of the doubt and trust the coaches' confidence in him.

@@drunkpiece2522 I agree to a point. I view Liam as Mr. Dependable. He will always make the right play, but lacks the elite traits for speed, size, etc. I'm not too sure if that's what you want for an offense that is focused on explosive plays. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised!

Liam is 6-1, 205 pounds and is one of the biggest receivers on the team. he's also in the top five for speed. Just want to give you all some facts. -- T-Frank
Also, we're not talking race within this conversation so just keep that in mind with your replies.

The thing is, with the new OC, we really don't need a number one receiver, because Andy likes to spread it around and use everyone, fact!!!!! WE ARE

The receivers still need to get open whether they're a wideout or the slot receiver. Spreading it around only works if one of the receivers is good enough to require a double-team

I’d still feel better with a stud WR….

If Liam Clifford is your second best receiver, you’ve got major issues

Why he was a 24/7 4 star recruit. Just because he’s white?

Why’s this such a problem he was a 24/7 4 star composite high 3 star same as most the guys on our roster. He made some big receptions last year and seems to have taken the next step. What are you trying to say? He’s not some walk on that’s on the squad because he’s Sean’s brother. Franklin wouldn’t mention him if he wasn’t good

Great outside of KeAndre Lambert-Smith leaving and Julian who couldn’t even make it as Ohio States 3rd WR its basically the exact same mediocre at best WR core, Jesus just put Tyseer Denmark in already
