    These are soooooo nice! Nerves of steel that paper, to avoid being distressed throughout that barrage of taunts!

      Thank you, Tanda! It's some seriously tough paper!

    Excellent! I had to do something like this with my youngest daughter not too long ago .... we went with smoke coming off a candle to do the distressing, I wish I had thought of just frightening the paper with a grim future. Maybe it would have worked better if you had made more paper centric prognostications like being recycled as a roll of TP in a chilli resturaunt or something like that. Great job, love ur style!! Cheers!

    Lovely gifts! Very authentic looking ancient scrolls, steeped in mysticism and arcane knowledge. Great filming and music sounds like a John Carpenter film, which is a good thing! Well done Lady S!

    • @FigmentsMade
      @FigmentsMade  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, Gib! I've been surprised at how well the paint works but it definitely depends on the paper.

    You're videos never disappoint, and this is another example. We love your sense of humor and style! You very nicely achieved the antiqued parchment look, much better method than the clothes dryer! P.S. we could have sworn the music was coming from the other side.😉

    Super job 👍 tea bags are also pretty good for staining paper 😁 that sheep is very cheeky too 😂

    • @FigmentsMade
      @FigmentsMade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I tried a bit of tea staining in the past without getting quite the depth of color I wanted, but I'm sure experimenting with a wide variety of teas would be fun as I didn't go very far with it! I'm glad you like the cheeky sheep! 😉

    • @alanscannell
      @alanscannell 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FigmentsMade I suppose it would depend on the type of paper and how long you leave it soak. Great job though really like the effect 👌

    • @FigmentsMade
      @FigmentsMade  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Different papers and even different colored inks definitely have different reactions. The first couple of papers I tried didn't work at all! Thank you though. I appreciate it!

      @FigmentsMade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

  • @MoonshineMetalworks
    @MoonshineMetalworks 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ace! I've always used tea bags for this but paint actually seems less messy... either that or I've been doing the tea method wrong..

    • @FigmentsMade
      @FigmentsMade  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I haven't been able to get quite the look I wanted with tea bags in the past. I had to experiment a bit with different papers. But I think this combination is working pretty well!

      Thank you!! I'm still working on my sheep translations. It took me a while to get those sentences transcribed and I'm still not sure I got them all correct. I'm sure I'll figure their name out eventually. At the moment it sounds like Baaaaaaaaaa.
