This is a tutorial on how to make a medieval scroll that looks great.
It is a fun and easy project and what you put on the scroll is
only limited by your imagination. It can be a map, laws, rules,
a kingdom decree or anything else!
I show you how to make the scroll and give you several options to
    make it easy.
For more on this project visit the web tutorial on my website here:

So, we have scrolls. But what if we'd like a field guide to take with us on our long journeys, bound into a nice little book? Or a journal to put our natural remedies and concoctions into?
Yes, yes, I'm asking for a book binding tutorial. Of course, if you aren't able to do that it's perfectly understandable. If you are, then that would be wonderful!
Thanks for reading, and thanks for the awesome videos.
Oh, and TIP! If you want your scroll to look like a dragon tried to read it, burn the edges and, if you're a daredevil, brown the areas where there are no words (or too much white space). I love burning the edges of the parchment I have, and if it's controlled it looks fabulous.

A scroll might just work for the formal letter my campaign's characters are about to receive from the Guild of Assassins. I was going to just hand each of them a note, but this scroll would carry more menace.
A novel, huh? I have to think that a novel from you would be imaginative and well-researched, and a lot of fun. I'll be reading "The Left-Handed Sword" when it comes out. Maybe read it while listening to some Beatles, with their left-handed bass player. ^_~

I have my own way to turn paper brown. If you boil some grass and dip paper in the green water left over then dry it,it should oxidize and turn brown in a day or so.I like this method but theres probably better ways.
