This has become my go to place for OSRS training guides. Every time I want to learn more about a skill or a piece of content my first thought has become "I wounder what Theoatrix has to say on the subject". Keep up they great work. Also, your animations and intros are second to none IMO.

@@vrilgod4176I don't see how? Once you unlock cannon/chins and ancients, the xp rates don't really differ much from being maxed. And you're gaining all combat levels, instead of just the slayer skill on its own.
NPC Aggression timers plugin is a god send for AFKing at crabs or any monster that you hit the 10 min agression cap at. People often think they have to run a mile and come back to reset em, when often you have to just step a tile to the right. It'll show you the agression zone you're in and where it ends. Saves hella time and will make it harder for some nerd to steal your spot when you have to reset.
My favorite spot to afk farm is rock crabs, it's a nice spot and you rarely see other players.. but it's a long trip from barbarian outpost via games necklace (past the rocks or w/e you jump on) then east, past the bridge, then run east around the angled wooden barrier spikes and head north

Could you make a list of suggestions for monsters to choose and which to avoid? Most vids seem to skip over how to actually choose which monsters you should fight and why
I've been doing Scurrius around mid levels, once you have a bone weapon the xp is pretty solid solo. Each summoning of rats is free fast xp, been getting 80k+/hr.
Some months ago i started playing this game. Really enjoyed it and to be honest, it was pretty addicting. Already combat 100. 2 weeks ago i tried to get the fire cape. Reached the endboss in first try and died. 3 times in total i tried, reached the boss and died because of the little helpers. This was why i quit. Never really played games before. And and don’t mind it to just say the truth about the reason, im just ass at the combat part of the game. Felt horrible to lose. Someone said just quit, this is not your game. But i enjoyed. And i still can enjoy your videos oatrix 😄
Im pretty bad at combat as well, but one thing that helped me massively was questing. Not only is it a great way to progress your account, but fighting all of the quest bosses will sharpen your skills with the mechanics needed to make the firecape a breeze!
Practice the Jad fight using quest speed run world, selecting cursed sands & then teleporting to the fight caves to practice Jad. Risk free & helps learn the mechanics. Happy scaping
To be fair there’s not a lot that prepares you ahead of time. It’s one of the first big mile stones of what’s to come. Dragon crossbow and blow pipe your way to a cheese cape! It takes people multiple tries usually if it’s your first time around. So don’t give up
To make a correction about the video, it says not to do a hard mode rumble until higher combat because the bosses have higher defense. That is *NOT* true, hard mode only affects the bosses' offensive skills and hitpoints (except for Corsair Traitor for some reason). Some bosses gain extra abilities but these are ones you won't be fighting anyways. Hard mode is actually preferred because more HP means less time switching targets.

Can’t do NMZ in F2P, players who want slayer xp can’t get that from NMZ, certain builds cannot do NMZ because of unable to complete certain quests.

Its more efficient to max your combats at NMZ before doing slayer
