Hey Johnny I think your doing good. Don’t get videos too long people get bored. I think the info your giving is good and chatting with mike is helpful also I fish priest and old hickory both. Thanks
Hey Johnny, great video man! I have a high school tournament on old hickory this weekend. Thank y’all for all of the help and knowledge as I’ve never been on this lake. Can’t wait to check these spots out and use that information on other spots as well. Kentucky lake and pickwick are my considered home lakes so hopefully I can transfer that knowledge to old hickory.
I like these videos with the map breakdowns. Glad you did an Old Hickory video but since I don't get over to Priest much I really enjoy those and want to get over there a little more often in the coming year.
I’m really interested in buying a canoe and venturing out into this lake I grew up around. Thank you for your video, trying to learn as much as I can about all areas of the lake
I don't bass fish but I was fishing one day at steam plant on the wall where the discharge is. I kept seeing shad jump. I didn't have my bass rods but a bass fisherman came close. I asked him if he had a top water and he threw it near wall. In 15 cast he caught probably 10 bass 3 of them over 4 pounds. Another day I was in same spot and with my cast net i caught a 7 lb and a 2 lb bass. Sadly last time I was there you couldn't get to the spot
I’m local to Nashville and fished Bull creek boat ramp this past weekend for the first time. Any spot recommendations closer to the steam plant? I’ve hit sanders ferry and lock 4, which are the opposite direction, but just looking for new spots. Thanks.
Not sure how you plan on fishing but I don’t do I have bank fishing so I can’t help there. If you are going to bring your own boat both a lakes are sketchy to navigate during winter pool. I would hire merv at Nashvillefishingguides.com and fish Percy Priest I have a video or two with him on my channel.
I personally consider everything from Cordell hull dam to old hickory damn “old hickory lake” now what I’m showing on the screen might be the river section of old hickory but would consider it old hickory lake. Where do you think old hickory lake starts?
I am local to Nashville and always love conversations about local lakes
Nice. I would subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already. Will do conversations like this every once in a while
Doing an Awesome job Jonny K.
👍

Thanks for the feedback. Plan on chatting with some other folks in the coming days so hopefully they will provide some local knowledge.
Interesting. I would actually like the videos to be a little longer. I love soaking up this information. Keep up the great work Johnny!
By to long I was leaning towards 20 or 30 minutes for regular or frequent videos

Hi Allen, thanks for chiming in and providing feedback. Will try and get some different views of priest for you.

I grew up fishing the steam plant!
That’s crazy so you know how to catch them in the area?
Thinking of going to Nashville for Thanksgiving
where would you suggest fishing on Old Hickory
Looking catch anything.
Thanks
