Yes I use 20lb power pro braid which is very thin and equal to 6lb diameter, which helps the crankbait dive deeper and it helps when ripping it threw grass underwater, but if the water is very clear on some lakes I will switch to clear line 14 lb fluorocarbon hope this helps .
Man, I sure wish I was up in Drake's creek, or Rock Arbor..we did get on em Sunday up in Sycamore creek. When the camper and truck burned down last week, my grandad and my kyaks didn't make it, so we had a celebration of life Sunday, and just fished the bank. Nice fish brother, glad u got on em..dish on
I love fishing sycamore creek, it’s where I learned how to fish when I was younger, in a little plastic boat with only a trolling motor, sorry for your loss, thanks for your support

My wife and I are coming down to oldhickory lake the last week of June. We are from Southern Indiana. Where do you recommend on the lake and what ramp should we use? Thanks
Thanks for the video. I moved here two years ago and have been fishing OH but have only had marginal luck. I do better at Cordell Hull Lake and the Current River. If you’re interested I would like to fish with you sometime. I have a 18.5 Range that is very comfortable.
At first glance it doesn’t look like it would hold fish, but there are a few trees down under the water and it’s close to deep water, it was my first time fishing that bank and it also fit the pattern I was on that day, thank you for watching 🤙

Shutes branch boat ramp is a good ramp, also rockland ramp is good also, channel is close by for summer fishing

Thanks for your support, definitely a shad type bait either a crankbait/spinner bait but that also assuming the fish are in fall pattern by then.
