I ordered one of these in 6.5 creedmoor last November, it finally arrived a week ago (thanks canada post). This rifle feels fantastic! I can't wait to take it out shooting, and to get my first deer with it. Your review helped guide my purchase, and I could not be happier. Thank you very much!! Keep up the great reviews!
Ordered this rifle in 308win for $750 CAD on sale. Had to wait for more than a month because the Canada Post strike but well worth the wait. Looking forward to use it next hunting season.
Watching you from Arkansas, always like your channel, you are refreshingly honest and detailed! My friend just bought a CVA cascade lrh in 7mm prc and is on a elk hunt right now and loves it! Thanks for the excellent video!!
Finally someone that sights the gun in right for a review. I’ve watched a bunch and they shoot way left in a big three group shot and they say that’s great . You should be close to the dot not way left at a 100 yards and say that’s great I could see if you had sighted in for longer range and it shoots high
or they do only a couple of different boxes. i agree with you. thanks for the comment and please if you havent dont forget to subscribe. thanks again!!
Own cascade in .308 Amd it jated 150 gtain bullets Tried 165 grain and am very pleased with accuracy. This rifle os well made and have not had any issues. Every rifle has a round it prefers, we just have to find it. Would buy again
@@tremaineangus6474 I hate to hear this I just purchased a cascade LRH 6.5 prc that I haven’t had a chance to shoot yet. Got me scared 😂. May I ask did you contact cva ? How is customer service if so?
It does not matter who you buy from it’s always possible to get a lemon. However these CVA rifles are developing a good track record as hunting rifles.
Thanks for your video. Wondering why only less than 150 gn bullets as the standered is 150 and most .308 rifles shoot best with 165 to 180 gn. ? Also for hunting heaver bullets would be better in this short barrel with reduced velocity. Most rifles prefer certain weight bullets and you have not tryed to find wich weight is best for this rifle.
well this rifle is not a 308. and i do know that most 6.5 creedmoor work great in the 140gr area. i do know that 308 do like the 165 and up but this is not one of them thanks for the cmment and dont forget to subscribe. peace
@@jamesmunden4607 i would so far i really like this rifle. im not sure how it would shoot as a 30-06 or a 270 with the longer barrel mind you. but the sb barrel on this one. did very well. the trigger and stock are very nice for the price. thanks for the question hope that helps you ? and please dont forget to subscribe! thanks again!!

Thank you Vernon. Good option for new players. Cheers from NZ🇳🇿.
Are CVA Cascades available in New Zealand? Despite being manufactured in Spain, availability seems to be limited to the US and Canada.
Thank you for teaching me about CVA. I didn't know they were a 3 lug bolt.
your very welcome. glad i could help on that!!

@UltimateArms sorry I'm thinking about getting a short barrel 308.. missed the 6.5 info, great video.
Do they chamber 270 and 3006 and the CVA Cascade???
yes they do. and alot more!!! but the 270 is a 24 inch barrel, and the 30-06 is also a 24inch barrel.
@@UltimateArms ok thank you. I did not know that. 270 and 30-06 are my favorite calibers. Would you recommend a CVA Cascade???
