    What face yoga exercise would you recommend for marionette lines?

      There's no quick fix for marionette lines and/or jowls, no matter what someone might tell you. I'm working on a video, but it's going to be looooong😅 In my book "A Happy and Relaxed Face with Face Yoga" a.co/d/gpN6sYH there's an entire chapter on jowls. First of all, one needs to check their head posture and tongue position - the tongue should be firmly against the roof of the mouth. Jaws should be relaxed. One shouldn't activate DAO muscles (the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth down), nor push their chin forwards. Exercising Zygomaticus major muscles (the smiling exercise I have here on TH-cam) helps, too, as does activating the Buccinator muscle. And then there are several massage techniques that can help - but never ever stretch the skin! I think this might become a weekend workshop instead of a video. 😹
