Might want to change the title as it's very misleading when you have android handhelds more powerful than this like the AYN Odin 2/2 mini & Ayaneo Pocket S
@@ChigzTech Sorry to be that idiot who acts like he knows everything, I just don't want others getting the wrong end of the stick. It's Anbernic's most powerful handheld, just not the most powerful android handheld on the market. Sorry again, love the channel
I knew you meant anbernic's best .. I think dude did too? (Obviously) But hey... You got some comments out of it... And that's good for the channel.... So, it's all good
Other reviewers have commented on the joy sticks not being the greatest, think I'll wait till they do a revision on this unit, in the meantime, I'm waiting on their 35xxh arriving for the princely sum of £38 in the latest AliExpress sale, top notch ps1 performance will do for now👍
I just got mine. Week 1 using it and the joy sticks are basically Nintendo switch sticks. So yeah amazing but works fine. I was even using it to stream elden ring from my PC to it and the jot sticks didn't bother me
It depends on what you want. Both are different at different price points. RP4P is more powerful but isn’t as bit or as comfortable. I wanted an OLED so I got 556 and I love it. The thumb sticks are good for anything except first person shooters. Probably can go wrong with either.
Actually, you're WRONG....I bought this product myself to review. The Odin is more than double in price, it costs nearly as much as the PS5. So hard sale. As mentioned in the video the RG556 is one of Anbernic's most powerful handhelds and it is very popular. PS2 emulation is very good. For the price this is a dam good emulation handheld.
I really like the look of this and the price is alright. Only downside for me is the JP button layout, would take some time adapting as i have used an xbox controller layout for about 22 years haha
Depends on which package you buy. I suggest if you do get games included that you buy a reliable branded SD card. The stock one I got was a very cheap one and prone to failure.
@@ChigzTech I'm getting on in years now and have had poor eyesight all my life, I even struggle playing on my 6.58 inch. Yes it has TV out but that's what my Shield is for. Best option for me seems to be the Lenovo Legion Go, which I'm slowly saving for.

I just tweaked it. Thanks for the heads-up.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes, so sometimes, things do get overlooked, but I appreciate you.👍
@@ChigzTech Oh yeah, videos don't come out of thin air lol All this takes time and it's much appreciated

At that price, could be worthwhile to waste hours away playing my old PS1 favourite - Spyro... 🤔😏
😎🇬🇧
Loving PS2 emulation on this.
Why don't they make mediatek or qualcomm processors variants
Yes I agree, even a SD 888 would be amazing.
price / cost

Got nervous for a second there I didn't think you were going to catch your own throw.
RP4P or Anbernic556?? which is better, planning to buy

Ever heard of the Odin 2 Max bro??? You obviously got this one for free to do an "unbiased review"

I believe you can change the settings so the controls are like the Xbox layout !!
Why an AMOLED display just reaches 102% SRGB Color saturation?
How you download ps2 games on it?
You'll have to search. People aren't allowed to tell you how to get your roms/ISO's. You should rip your own games to avoid possible legal penalties
What a great device, I love it🤘🏻
The quality of joystick and buttons is it good?
I have been having it for 2 months, and the overall experience is quite amazing. Only the joysticks are kinda ass tbh.
Oh yeah...impressive...thanks chigz...😁😁😁👍👍👍
Thanks for watching 🙏
Compare to RP4pro, which one better ?
Can you change the aspect ratio?
Great review about time we had a great emulator
Were those games the ones that came in the sd card?
Can you play coop with some one that has the same device ?
Link to buy
Can it run PS vita?
Are all the games included?

It's a shame the screen will be too small for my aged, failing eyes
Just under 6” it’s actually a pretty decent sized screen.

Legion Go is insanely good. You made good choice.
@@ChigzTech thanks you 😺

Hi chigz, please unbox and review samsung galaxy A55 5G in ice blue color
Do you feel heat on device or hand?
Can you test new android games like ZZZ ?
I will in future videos, but that game is 20GB in size lol
I bought a Razer Edge and loaded my own games
A handheld using a Unisoc chip is the most powerful? Is that a joke? 😂
It honestly isn't a joke 😂😂 I got a rg28xx recently and it hard crashed after 1 3rd of a race on Colin McRae rally 2.0 PS1 😂😂😂
@terribletimes902 If you follow the Anbernic brand, you will know this is one of their most powerful handhelds. No doubt I would prefer a SD 888.
@@ChigzTech I do follow them mate got an rg28xx
@sTuPiDiScOoL_ My previous reply was to the other guy. but about the RG28XX that was a seriously underpowered device.
@@ChigzTech aaaah no problem mate wasn't an issue man 🏆
