    Thanks for the review on some of the new Tempur-Pedic pillows. At the beginning of the video you mentioned the symphony pillow. Quick question: I currently use the Symphony and it has been the best pillow I’ve ever slept on so far (I like the side that curves out more than the “flatter” side). Of all the new Tempur-Pedic pillows (2018-present), which one would you say has the overall closest feel (firmness, density, height, and support) to the Symphony pillow?

    Proadapt is like the proadapt line of beds. The lo mid and hi are pertaining to front, back and side sleepers in general.

    You introduced the Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling, but didn't say anything about it. How does it compare to the Adapt Pros?

    Thanks for the review. I don't find the exact Cloud + Cooling pillow (white on the top and blue color on the bottom as in the video) on the above tempurpedic link you posted.? Instead I find "TEMPUR-Adapt™ Pro Cloud + Cooling Pillow" (pillow cover looks little different - its white on both top and bottom). Are the both same ? If not do you know the difference?

    I’ve got the cloud breeze and the thing is hard as a rock when compressed. Will this soften over time when it gets broken in? I just about tossed them in the trash.

      It will soften quite a bit yes, but it might take a month (or more!) to do so.

    Nice, but not a clue as to which might be good for a smaller/larger woman or a smaller/larger man, nor how long these pillows should be kept keeping in mind their exorbitant prices. I have had one with the “humps” for years but feel that it is time for another. The problem is that the cost is such that you need to let people know how many years these pillows are supposed to “last.”

      Hi Joan. All good points. Pillows aren't the main thing we review -- and we aren't able to do long-term testing on them. Just in general pillows are something you'll want to replace every couple of years anyway, as body oils and dust can degrade them, regardless of the initial cost.
      As for choosing one, you really want to match the pillow to the mattress and the predominant sleep position. We have a good buyer's guide on them. You want a pillow that keeps your spine in alignment: www.goodbed.com/guides/pillows/
      Hope that's helpful!

    So no pillow case needed on cooling pillows?

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We would certainly use a pillow case to protect the pillow. A light microfiber should allow the cooling effect to pass through but will be easy to wash.

      @@goodbed so whichis best for side sleepers pro high, low or medium ?

      @@daviddave8266 Different for everyone. There is no one answer. I tried all three and chose the medium (mid). Low was too flat...for me. High was too high...for me.

      Your Tempur-Pedic pillow became wet? Let it air dry in a sunny place. That should do it.

    do you lose the cooling once you put on a pillow case?

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hi there -- This is certainly a very good question. There is no doubt that there will be less coolness to the "touch" the more layers of fabric are between you and the pillow. That said, the material should still have a temperature-regulating impact once the heat from your head and neck reaches it, which certainly would still happen even through a pillow case.
      Think of it like the marble example we have used in some of our videos about this Tempur fabric. If you put a sheet on top of a slab of marble, it would certainly reduce the coolness to the touch (vs touching the marble directly). But if you were to then lay on that sheet (on top of the marble), there would still be more of a cooling effect than if you laid on that same sheet on top of wood.
      I hope that's helpful.
