Hi I've had this pro mid pillow for a couple of years new in the box in a closet. So my old faithful pillow finally gave up the ghost and started hurting my neck (I am a side sleeper). So I pulled it out of the box a few days ago and while I don't like the weight of the pillow (a bit heavy) I am really liking it. So I found what you found, that the side of the pillow (inside the cover) that faces the blue non-cooling side is softer and conforms to my neck better sleeping on my side. I also wanted to take advantage of the cooling side of the cover, so before watching your video I took the inner pillow out of the cover, flipped it over and put it back in with the softer side facing the cooling side of the cover (side with stripes), like you are talking about doing. Now I love it!! Funny how I came to the same conclusion as you did in your video. Great video by the way, as I was wondering what was inside of the pillow (layers) and even though I have the same box you have there with the picture of the layers I didn't fully understand it until I watched your video, so thanks a lot! :-)
Sweet! Just bought the Pro mid (non-cooling). There is a BOGO Labor Day Sale. Your reviews helped me a lot. My gf liked the old "soft and conforming" but that was too hard for me, a back sleeper, so I'm hoping this Pro-mid will be perfect!
I just got the non-cooling mid and high. The high is great! The mid is bigger then the hi and not comfortable at all. Not sure what happened. Need to call them for a swap or something.
I went to Ashley today and tested out the Adapt Pro+Cool-lo, Mid, Hi. I'm only 150 pounds but a slide sleeper. I found the Hi the best feel and comfort. Do you think you'll try/ review that one? I currently have the Cloud Breeze I'm comparing it to. Thanks for doing this video. I learn something new each time.
I am trying to get all of the pillows to review. The hi is large and a more medium comfort feel. To me the low feels like a medium soft, and should suit you better for side sleeping. The hi is more for a larger frame and the mid is for someone your size.
@@daviddave8266Not at all for me! Low feels like my head is almost on the mattress. 6”-6.5” for me is ideal height/loft as a side sleeper. The promid is 6.5” high.
I’m a light guy, sleep on my stomach for the most part. I’ve been shopping for a new pillow and I find they are too big and cause stiffness in my neck. Really think these are worth the price? I’m thinking of the low cooling.
I would recommend the lo or mid. High hurts your neck and takes awhile to break in. I started with mid but ended up with lo cooling. Make sure you get the cooling one. I sleep on my side and back and love when my spine is aligned. It seems mid and high cock your neck up higher. But mid might be a good option with jaw issues. I never sleep on my back. I was also looking at the soft and conforming model, and the Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling as well. I am honestly at a loss as to what to pick. I tried the side to side with cooling and the tempur neck pillow and those both were like bricks, and created a lot of issues.
Actually there is a Low soft cooling. I just bought two on BOGO still on sale. Tell them you saw the BOGO ad online. For note the low & mid size are same price $179 Queen & $219 for King. I bought low because I'm not tall and low neck. I'm a side then back Sleeper. Idont want my head pushed up then neck cramps. Low side perfect balance just high enough so head not bent down either. But the Low DOES come on cooling like mid & high. Also these & other pillows go on sale. Bogo is on any pillows. So not sure why he thought low is not in the Adapt Pro cool style.

I think the quality control on these are bad. I got this pillow as a buy one get one free. The first pillow is so soft it feels good for 30 seconds then it goes totally flat. I tried sleeping on the other one, identical pillow, and it's firm and hardly sinks.
I don’t like that the promid pillow has a lump in the middle, wish it was flat like the low version. Hate the hump/curve design. I like the low too. I have one low and one mid. Both get warm quick, the cover is the only cool feature, it doesn’t stay cool. I flipped my around, the backside is softer and flatter. Doesn’t have the curve/hump. I just flipped it and put it back in the cover. I like the softness of both the mid and low versions. But they are overpriced and over rated. I got mine free because I bought a Tempurpedic bed, and they threw them in as part of the purchase.
LOVE this pillow!! ProMid is the perfect height for side sleeping. Truly supports my head and neck.

Great review. I’m confused as to whether we are supposed to avoid pillowcases with these. Does Tempur-Pedic have an official answer on that?
You can avoid pillowcase but it will get dirty. I use one and still cool.

I love the humped, curved side! Better for my neck as a side sleeper. Fills in the curve just right.
