Thyroid deficiency in which selenium deficiency is a part, iodine deficiency is a part, increased goitrogens in a diet all are important. 2. May be normal in some with advancing age. 3. Iron deficiency is also a cause. 4. Other autoimmune diseases like lichen planus or psoriasis. 5. In some smokers it's due to peripheral vascular disease or vasculitis also. Kindly meet a Dermatologist and you will find the reason and then proceed accordingly, that will be the best.

Thyroid deficiency in which selenium deficiency is a part, iodine deficiency is a part, increased goitrogens in a diet all are important. 2. May be normal in some with advancing age. 3. Iron deficiency is also a cause. 4. Other autoimmune diseases like lichen planus or psoriasis. 5. In some smokers it's due to peripheral vascular disease or vasculitis also.
