My Grandfather served in WW2 as a radio operator in both the B-17 and the B-29. Reading his journals and memoires, he recalled several flights over Japan, including a rather sketchy run where they had to fly through columns of smoke to avoid AA fire, and his favorite missions which were supply runs to POW camps shortly after the surrender.
Sadly, he died in 1992, but I think he would have enjoyed just how much effort you all went through if he had seen your video.

Then you have pairs of tracers with report to fire on command for air to air. The firework cannon is like the weapons the Home Guard used here in the UK. Love the B17 and lucky to see two flying together here a few years ago. Great work!

There was nothing cooler than seeing fire flow out of the planes vents. Maybe the gunner view shaking while flying through fire works

Wow, TWENTY EGGS seems like a significant amount of weight for that airplane! I guess twelve feet of wingspan is a good amount of lift to handle that weight!
That airplane is so incredibly cool looking!
I wonder if an actual bb cannon would better simulate real AAA fire?
The only thing I wish I could see is a camera angle from inside the cockpit or one of the cabin windows!
