I've been browsing Youvimi for a wig and so on but hearing all these stories puts me off and also I've seen that they use pictures of Lisa and Rosé from Blackpink to promote certain wigs. Like honey those kpop stars are not wearing wigs, its their own hair and why are they using their pictures without permission?!

They use stock images from other brands. The “thinness” is pretty normal for wigs intended for daily wear as opposed to cosplay. I buy straight from Taobao with a shopping service rather than resellers or places like Youvimi.

Future me here, the wigs did come in (they came in just in time for my birthday so I was able to wear one of them at my birthday dinner) it was just so jarring that I spent a lot more than I thought it would cost (it has to do with international shopping) I’m pleased with my wigs despite all of this, and they turned out well in my opinion, but yeah I was pretty peeved about seeing this video right after I had ordered the wigs. I actually predicted that the wigs would come in right before/on my birthday because I looked at the approximate making and shipping times and I followed the package with the app that they recommended I install to follow the package and I followed it through each step (it was actually kind of exciting despite the initial regret of paying so much). But yeah I can’t condone purchasing youvimi wigs again because I don’t plan on ever shopping there again because of international shipping costs and the way it tricked me into thinking the wigs were better priced. Sorry for the long message, I just wanted to clarify what happened in my experience with this (I received my wigs in mid-April, just as I had planned, so yeah I kinda forgot I commented here 🤷🏻♀️)
@@kpingpong2525 So when you go to your email and you see the order confirmation email, click on View your order and then download the Shop app (that’s the one where you can track your purchase from their location in China all the way to where you live). Just so you know the package (if wigs) will probably take about 3 or 4 weeks depending on the purchases. But yeah it’s called the Shop app. Hope this was helpful :)

Resellers I don't mind (import taxes etc can be horrific for businesses) but stealing someone's content is not right. No grey area on that. I always reverse image search in Ali and tao : saw dalao home had the same images (but more) and i have a chunk of them coming. This video makes me more excited and less like I took a guess (I quite like them from what I saw on youvimi.... Just didn't get it from em!). Super happy I didn't give money to thieves. Time to check out Alice garden too! Good on ya for your honesty!
one time i paid about £50 for a seifuku set which i ordered in a size small but they sent me a medium. I emailed them multiple times and messaged them on instagram but they never got back to me. I also ordered a black wig from them which was nice at first however i only got to wear it out once before it turned into an absolute tangled mess

Lots of aliexpress sellers are selling the dalao wigs currently. Just check the user photos - saw some using Dalao photos for really nasty cheap wigs. Still waiting for my order but I used Superbuy to get wigs off Taobao : was trying taobao direct but their only broker option to Australia during covid won't post wigs (and are charging 3x more for shipping than super buy quoted! ) Let's hope it goes smooth for me.... Its otw.
Got my Dalao order : they're FABULOUS for the price - As mates we got 22 of em total and only 3 were 'eh' (They were cheaper but still wanted to try). Warning is due to the pandemic postage was not a good time and a little more pricey. The short ones if you have a fat head feel like you are constantly pulling down a short skirt but living for my longer ones. ... and if they aren't the the ones on Youvimi I WILL BE VERY SHOCKED. Part of the reason I wanted to get 'faulty' ones is to see if they had the same issue that their vouvimi counterparts had reported and yessir they did. P.s. My nopes are the short white one with the braids, the grey with the buns is SUPER shiny but the others aren't and the half half blue and pink was just too short for me. My hells yeah are most all the others. They sent us a free baseball cap thing with hair - the cap looks cheap n nasty BUT was free. p.s.s. Had the same problem with the only wig I bought from them, stayed in California for a long ass time, when I got it, it was difficult to put on, the bangs are mad thin, every time I tried to comb or smooth it out, a lot of hair comes out. I didn't have problems with shipping. My clips fell off too and the wig sheds alot.🤣 They reached out to me and offered to give me a discount code to promote them just like Addy. BUT never shared the posts that I've made for them. Sharing usually helps with gaining more followers etc. I do not alot of followers atm. 🙃 They apologized for not posting it but did nothing to make up for it. But I do agree,the prices are ridiculous and it's wrong to steal other people's photographs/content. So lazy

Just a heads-up, there are tons of companies and individual resellers selling TaoBao wigs. I got a haul off Wish, and most of them were TaoBao wigs. Too bad I can't seem to find the Zodiac set anywhere but Youvimi, as my wife really wants the black and purple one. But then again, I'm not a creator, just some idiot who wants to wear some cool wigs and make music videos.

I actually had to email them because it took 3-4 months for my wigs to come and apparently they never shipped it until I emailed them. I’m actually sad that I bought something from this brand. I was looking for “cheap” wigs to buy and a TH-camr recommend them. Worst decision ever. The customer service is just very awful. Recently I got blocked by Youvimi because I commented “I wish they should be more diverse with there models.” 😬
Youvimi, like many other Chinese “manufacturers” are just basically drop shippers. In China, copyright law does not exist so all the various suppliers of J-fashion items are not bothered about stealing images and videos from competitors. No-one gets sued for it, it is just normal behaviour in China. Most of the items for sale in 109, for example are chinese made and you can find nearly all of them on Alababa or other chinese retail websites. There are some Japan made items, but they are the expensive items in the shops.
I'm from Brazil and I'll share my experience with youvimi. I've purchased one wig there and it had a shipping that I couldn't track every step, only could track when it was at town being delivered to my home. It could get lost so easily specially during the pandemic, and the shipping was expensive. Thank God it came safely and quite fast. The quality is ok, like you showed it tangles and loses hair. I didn't purchase from there anymore since then, converting the price for me, it's too expensive, their shipping is not secure and expensive as well.

I have mixed feeling about this. A lot of brands buy and resell and youvimi is clearly one of them, but aliexpress is so different. Any wig seller in china or taiwan seems to come from the same place, with every website selling the same thing. So I wouldnt promote any of them or say one is better than the other. You do tend to pay way less on aliexpress which is concerning but each seller is its own entity
My grandmother bought me a youvimi wig a couple years back as a christmas present. She tracked it for MONTHS and it took so long to arrive, she was worried it wouldnt be here in time but thankfully it came the day before.

I’m actually sad that I bought something from this brand. I was looking for “cheap” wigs to buy and a TH-camr recommend them. Worst decision ever.
The customer service is just very awful. Recently I got blocked by Youvimi because I commented “I wish they should be more diverse with there models.” 😬

Youvimi, like many other Chinese “manufacturers” are just basically drop shippers. In China, copyright law does not exist so all the various suppliers of J-fashion items are not bothered about stealing images and videos from competitors. No-one gets sued for it, it is just normal behaviour in China. Most of the items for sale in 109, for example are chinese made and you can find nearly all of them on Alababa or other chinese retail websites. There are some Japan made items, but they are the expensive items in the shops.

I'm from Brazil and I'll share my experience with youvimi. I've purchased one wig there and it had a shipping that I couldn't track every step, only could track when it was at town being delivered to my home. It could get lost so easily specially during the pandemic, and the shipping was expensive. Thank God it came safely and quite fast. The quality is ok, like you showed it tangles and loses hair. I didn't purchase from there anymore since then, converting the price for me, it's too expensive, their shipping is not secure and expensive as well.
now im terrified because I spent forty dollars on a wig and the tracking number is acting up; same warehouse in california (compton). I really hope it comes soon, I never treat myself to anything.

I ordered a wig from them on December 8th and it's the 27th and it's been in the same sorting place in California I paid to have it come sooner and it should of taken like four days they said but idk

I almost purchased from Youvimi last month, but then I found Anibiu which was much more of a reasonable price for synthetic wigs. I really liked a seifuku they had but I'm definitely not buying from them now.

I have mixed feeling about this. A lot of brands buy and resell and youvimi is clearly one of them, but aliexpress is so different. Any wig seller in china or taiwan seems to come from the same place, with every website selling the same thing. So I wouldnt promote any of them or say one is better than the other. You do tend to pay way less on aliexpress which is concerning but each seller is its own entity

My grandmother bought me a youvimi wig a couple years back as a christmas present. She tracked it for MONTHS and it took so long to arrive, she was worried it wouldnt be here in time but thankfully it came the day before.

I really hope nobody buys from any company that doesn’t care about their customers and over prices the product. Shame on this company for being so greedy and expensive and giving customers cheap products. You can get much cheaper and better quality wigs at a hair store and they will not fall apart. Wow really dislike companies that are not genuine and honest.
