3:37 A "Rook" is also a type of bird, simular to a Crow or Raven. Rook's first name could also be seen as a reference to the fact that the Evil Queen in Disney's "Snow White" has a Raven for a pet! :)
Personally I always thought “Shroud” was in reference to the veil used to cover the dead. A macabre covering if you will. It can also refer to whispers/traces of someone who has died, like a ghost.
I always thought Malleus' name was a reference to Malleus Maleficarum, or the treatise against witchcraft. Still cool how much thought the devs put into everything!
i wanted to add that Leona means lioness in spanish, which could mean that in sunset savanna the name could be associated with a warrior like meaning, considering how the lioness are the ones who hunt in a pride
Unfortunately Lilia, Kalim, Epel and the others are not included in the Fanbook! I thought about adding them anyway (I have learned that Epel is apple in Norwegian and Felmier was possibly based on the French word "fermier," for farmer!) but I thought it would be best to keep it to official information only ^^
@@YuuRei20 strange they wouldn't be there if everyone else is... but hey! I respect that decision on your part, smart to not confuse people as to what's official and what's speculation.
The whole Dire/Dear thing fits Crowley so well 😂
It does tho lol!

knowing that alister crowley wrote a book on gargoyles is NOT helping the "crowley is malleus's dad" allegations lol
I love the every characters details of their names with a meaning behind it 😊
Dire= something horrible, as well. Dia= means day in Spanish, so diasomnia would mean "daydream" for many. (I'm Japanese-Panamanian ) 8D
Oh wow!! That is so interesting! Thank you so much for sharing! ♡
The end in Hyde could also represent the hydra

Oh a new vid! Woooop! You rock!
1:45 Its probably a coincidence but "Leona" is the word for female lion in Spanish too
i wanted to add that Leona means lioness in spanish, which could mean that in sunset savanna the name could be associated with a warrior like meaning, considering how the lioness are the ones who hunt in a pride
Wait where's the rest of the Diasomnia crew??? I'm missing my found family boys!

Ashen can also mean pale! One who does not get a lot of sunlight, which is interesting
