Good to see yall this morning. Thanks for sharing this property, I miss the areal outlined map of the property lines that you always put at the beginning. Speaking for myself, of course. That being said, nice showing! Keep on keepin' on!
The house looks as if it was properly renovated, and while the garden is small, it means little maintenance. The views are really beautiful, and it seems like a quiet, tranquil place, ideal for rest, holidays, or people who can work from home. They did not mention it, but I guess telephone/internet is not much of an issue. Legality is no issue hear, obviously this is urban land. For those who want to gro their food, I think it will be easy and cheap to find a piece of nearby agricultural land where you can spend the day but are not allowed to live. From what I see, I think the gate should be wide enough for most cars, maybe not for a campervan. I also like that you have lots of storage, and the little hut with the outdoor kitchen could be turned into a pretty little guesthouse for friends or the inlaws. However, there are some sobering facts that should be considered. The wilderness between the road and the house which once was a garden does not seem to belong to the property, same with the little other house at the "top left" corner (when seen from the gate). This is sad, as the entire ensemble would profit enormously from that. Also, there seems to be yet another little house in the backstreet that does not belong to the property in the "top right corner" (when seen from the gate). As a result, when renovating the building at hand they had to use a flat roof, which might cause problems midterm. I may have missed the rain gutter, too. Another thing to consider is that the "left" side of the house (where the kitchen is) seems to have a somewhat low ceiling, 2.2m maybe 2.3 m but I also may be mistaken - sometimes the cameralenses on these phones cause funny distortions. Re. the kitchen, please note there seems to be only one waterpipe in the left corner besides the fireplace where you have space of about 1 m - enough for a kitchen sink, but you may have difficulties to install a dish washing machine or a clothes drying machine that needs a Fresh, and wastewater-connection, and for the more luxury minded it will be difficult to install a fridge with an icemaker/watercooler connected to freshwater. Note that both bathrooms have no window and I also did not see an air vent or ventilator which is indispensable to remove the damp air. Otherwise, you have a good chance to get lots of mold really soon. In the bathroom, a washing maching might fit nicely, but once you put a dryer on top of it, the room would be full. Re the "split it into two houses" I think this could only work if you operate an AirBnB in both rooms, not for someone living there longtime.
Such a pretty house. The tiling, although not my taste, was done very well. I can see how nice this place can look like. It has alot of potential. Must bring in a landscape designer for that extra touch and wow. 👍
Morning Nick and Fernando, its a good sized house for someone to buy and live there with minimal maintenance work although I’m sure they would be able to find someone who would take care of the garden for them. I think I’d be very tempted to extend downstairs even just into one of those store rooms until I figured out how much room I needed and for what.😊
Hello again Martin, sorry its difficult to reply to everyone when I post multiple videos. I would need more space too and that would be the ground floor and maybe make the outhouses into a covered barbecue area 👌
Hi Nick, is that the beautiful old manor house you and Paula showed a while back across the street? I was hoping someone had bought it to restore to its original magnificence. But it still seems a bit neglected and sad. Nice presentation on this one too!
It is still for sale the Manor House, there have been offers I believe but not accepted. I was hoping too it would be restored to its former glory. Thanks for the kind words 🙏
Hi Nick and Mr Fernando good to see him again I love his English 😊 what a property so cheap to Carnt beleave perfect for someone to put there own stamp on it thank you for sharing great location too ❤❤
@@destino2portugal I get that vibe Nick , like attracts like mate. He’s a great lover of nature and beauty. Great qualities. I call people like this as earth angels mate. Valuable
Hi, guys 👋🏼 Love the finish of these houses. Cool main house with guest house. Your €110K gets you bags of storage and enough space to grow your own veg and fruit. Nice.
30 de Jan.2024. Uma casa bonita , talvez ,não para todos os gostos pela pintura exterior tão apelativa mas facil de corrigir para os novos habitantes, que eu espero em breve. Obrigada
Taking the renovation into account, the price seems to be ok. But on the other hand, in my humble opinion, the renovation was wasted money: This house is squeezed between (or rather into) another house and a garage. To enter the garden, you should better watch your diet. These are things you cannot change!
I think that's the first house I didn't like. It all new but something with the room arrangement doesn't work for me, I think If it can rearranged it can be a great one decent house

I agree. I was thinking about a nice downstairs laundry room and extra pantry/storage space, and extra refrigeration or cold storage room.

Very nice place Nick...so does the price of the house go up if I want Fernando with it😉.
🙊🙊🙊😅😅😅
Would be nice to see more coastal property. That last one was sold so fast!!
We are only 45 mins from the sea but that's far enough away to not get offered any.
Maybe I need to find an agent near the sea 🤔
@@destino2portugal That one you showed at Osso da Baleia, sold. I loved that one, it was so quaint and rustic.
@@OnTheFlipSide it sold very quickly
Which one
I so agree even if it's next to a lake

WOW!
Linda!
Thank you 😊
Does the little house in the back of this house that is attached and looks like an old shist house lived in? Does it belong to the same owner?
It hurts to see the family photos left behind. There could be no one left, but we should honor our ancestors

Am I crazy or does that seem like kinda an awful price for the layout/what you’re getting?
It depends on the area. Not a bad price at all and you can always bargain. Just make sure that the final offer includes a full inspection.
Taking the renovation into account, the price seems to be ok.

Nenhum wc com luz natural e bidé, mau gosto desde a pintura exterior...
Looks like it still needs heat and air conditioning as well as kitchen renovation.

The house layout in Portugal can be a bit different 😉
Shame the caption person couldn’t spell Pedrógão
The caption person is me, Nick and i am incredibly dyslexic and can't even spell English words even when they're in front of me, my apologies 😞
